Omg an oldschool smash sunday at Carl's??? Maybe I'll go, but I'll be then wasting a whole weekend (my birthday saturday). Tough call.

-Possibly a casual tourney with a lower admission fee than the competitive tourney with prizes
-October 29th, Friday after school (possibly starting from 5/6)
-Minus $5 admission if you bring in 5 non-perishable items to donate
-Non U of C students ARE ALLOWED (Lots of people come)
-Possible consolation reward/Kinder Surprise if you get last place or if you play Paul/Allan in the first round
-JOIN UP PEOPLEZ

Not actually CAST5 lol, just something to pass the time until it comes
What do you mean happening so late? Like, so late in the day, or so late in the month?
A Friday night seems like the most available time for people, and besides, it would be completely lopsided if Edmonton comes :-p
A Kinder surprise if you play Dan/Carl any time in the tournament, + a reassuring hug to let people know that it's going to be OK

Hansel there's actually are some decent Brawl players, and this one guy who destroys everyone including Paul/Allan and them with DACUS Snake

It has been awhile since I've actually practice any melee. In BC, my tech skill was beyond bad . I couldn't even like wavedash to get the ledge, and I was sheik.

Haha, we'll be there for sure but I might not be there for Melee for sure. =/
Anyway, when do they expect to finish this tournament? Last time, it was just brawl singles and doubles, and they finished in 3 hours (6PM-9PM) with 4 set-ups (or 3, since one was always friendlies). Now they have 2 more games, and they're starting at the same time...
Hopefully they'll have enough set-ups...
