I was talking with Paul about maybe having a Smashfest during Winter, though this was very vague and wasn't thought out much. Calgary is a fairly neutral location for all of Alberta, but Red Deer might be more balanced since there are less players on the more Southern side.

Lethbridge right now has myself, Levi, numonezeldafan and num1IkeLinkTeam (the Coaldale guys), so there'd be four from Lethbridge at max unless the Brawlers here want to play Melee (very unlikely).

I think a full Alberta smashfest/tourney would be a lot of fun, and there's still a few people I'd like to meet before I leave, but I'm not sure if vice versa is the same. XD Me and KillLock seemed to get along though. n_n

If I were all "yeah I'll get ***** at Edmonton" (even though I did, lol) before I went up there with Age, it'd have been boring for you folks. I don't mean half the stuff I say on the boards anyway, and I'm way different in person (for those who I haven't met yet). Just that the competition is so much more exciting with hype.

Before we went up to Edmonton in the Summer, I was at Age's one day with the other Brawlers, some D&D players, and other miscellaneous gamers all over and they were all watching me vs Mystic. Our match was DDD vs Toon Link and with how the triangle goes (Age>me>Mystic>Age), and I was on the verge of getting 3-stocked, everyone was shouting "3 STOCK" and ****, and at the end, we clashed off to the side of the edge, but I died at the bottom a few frames before he died on the side and everyone went absolutely nuts! I told to make it 2/3 and I 3-stocked him back (but everyone hates me so nobody cared lol) and game 3 was last stock, last hit on Delfino and it was silent until I had a chaingrab going up against a wall and got booed by literally everyone for the gayness while I laughed and killed him, just barely, barely winning.

Something SO simple; a friendly set and everyone was so excited and having fun all because of the hype.

[/ranting] Anywho, I think a mega Alberta smashfest with literally everyone would be an absolute blast. Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Coaldale, Medicine Hat, maybe some OoP; EVERYONE. I'd definitely be willing to help out with it if needed to get it going. n_n

If you're talking about the one I said, it's this random guy named Ben. He beat the entire melee cast, including Paul, Danny, Allan, Simon, and the other people. DACUS all day
