ha! marth has three spikes! everyone knows the half moon and blue spike. well, the forward a in the air works as well.

i just found this out right now. if you can connect with the tip of the blade (the exact tip, i think) you can spike the opponent.

i just now did this and i suck at testing things like this out so i don't know if it's just a one time glitch or a sure fire thing. but it's good to know, eh?

Directly above you tipping a dair.
If u are using marth, SPAM THE COMBO! Dont b afraid to abuse this move and raise your opponents damage. Try to start the combo about one character length away from your opponent and end the dancing blade by pressing down b. The pokes at the end catch an opponent when they try to dodge roll your attack (and they will dodge or run into the combo when they see you running to them). Make sure that you sometimes cancel the combo (one or two hits is fine) and throw in a shieldbreaker, full combo (only sometimes), or any other safe attack (grabs not reccomended). If you know a strong hit is coming ( if you are in the air and somone comes after you or charges a smash attack) use the counter. The knockback is incredible (better than ike's) and they get a taste of thier own medicine. A good set up move is the first hit of the dancing blade. tap forward b to stun them then go into the up b dolphin slash to ko them if they have around 50 damage to be safe. You can use other moves after the poke also but i can't think of anything yet. Use marth's down air move to spike (i call it a "dunk") people whenever you feel you can land it. The tip of the sword is key here so aim carefully and/or swing early. (note: use the c-stick for this move if u use the gamecube controler). Edgeguard with the expectation that your opponent will avoid it. Charge your shieldbreaker to make them grab the ledge. If you are feeling courageous, approach the edge and counter your opponent if u think they will attack. If not, feel free to combo and end with the down variation. Thats all for now, i am looking for some good opponents to fight. Feel free to send me your friend code and we can fight sometime. I am a swordsman specialist just so you know. Black Marth 4eva!

the wave dash is practically useless with marth, since he goes so slow with it so there is no use using it. The wavedash was discovered in december. i found it out by accident. the wave dash allows quick retreat, unpredictableness, and allows you to go to the enemy and forward smash without having to wait.....
Welcome to the future :D

It was also started in 2002, back when the experts were super n00bs by todays standards. There is no point in making fun of them for not having 12 extra years of metagame to draw from.
