but think about it. at least by release M&SatO BEFORE brawl. it means they wouldnt be lying in the trailer when they said Mario & Sonic together "for the first time".

I don't think that article is fake. Hell someone asked and it happened to be a spanish person. What we need is someone in America asking that question. I bet you if that came out in America, everyone would be like no doubt. Just wait till it shows up on the website.

i really hope not actually. all those pics are copied from Sonic 2006 and so sakurai would probably have a big "JUST KIDDING" caption under it. if theres a Sonic update (which most likely wont happen) i hope Sonic has a different character model than Sonic 2006

unfortunately i never played it...hell i dont even have a Wii yet...and im supposed to be Sonic #1 fan. anyways i did see the gameplay videos and trailers for SatSR and i do like that character model a little better so it could work. in all honesty i dont really care about which model is used...i just tried to make an allusion to my sig...*hides in shame*

I'm pretty much in agreement with you. Obviously, nintendo would mix up his moves and make up entirely new ones for him (just like with falcon, yoshi..etc.) I have no desire nor intent to use sonic or even see him in this game. He's a cartoon icon to me that died a long long time ago. He's not a critical staple to this game being a success. He's more of a reasonable desire with a higher potential of being in the game, unlike all these people suggesting ridley and banjo and kazooie *by the way, hate both of them too* So. Yeah, sonic sucks. Plus, he'd probably get a high tier spot (if ninendo doesn't balence properly) because of his speed and probably awkward moves.

^^ Too much Sonic hate lately ever since this article has popped up people have just been "Sawnic suxs!!!11" Well I just hope they can give a reason, instead of just immediately casting him out.

I'm surprised to see any, actually. I thought I was alone there for a second. I used to be totally anti Sonic in SSB, back when there wasn't a chance. Now I'd really hate for him to be in it, but I won't be too mad if he makes it in. I could take it all out on him in the game. XD
