According to the latest tier list, why is sheik higher than marth?

It doesn't make sense to me, I know she's an amazing character but I thought marth would be more overused.

1. The list isn't created by putting the most overused characters on top.
2. Sheik's the best character in the game.

my top 4 list is fox, sheik, marth, falco. but basing stuff off exact order is getting pretty anal, thats why we refer to tiers instead of 3rd best or whatever

Sheik is definitely better than Marth. She...

Is faster
Has a versatile aerial KO move
Has a sex kick
Has easier combos
Is harder to edgeguard
Has a faster wavedash
Can duck under grabs
Has better throws
Can KO at higher percentages from dthrow
Can KO at lower percentages with gimps
Has a projectile
Has a better shield
Can walljump

Plus she can turn into Zelda to cover other matchups lawlawlawl

Marth has...

More priority, which can be negated through fakeouts and speed
Better edgeguarding, but Sheik can go off the stage to gimp more efficiently
A better dash dance

And yeah.

Personally, I think top tier would be Sheik, Fox, Marth and then Falco. Falco seems to depend too heavily on the match-up to be better than the others, and Fox has a lot of chaingrabs against him that can mess him up, but still usually has an easier time killing than Marth, with all the different things that he can do.

Marth's flaws are that he doesn't have a projectile to spam, his recovery is gimpable, and that he lacks a solid way of killing someone. In basically every other regard he's really, really good. Your list of what Marth has is... hideously incomplete.
