About over a year ago I had a series of pains in my chest area over a course of a few months. About 2 or 3 times I felt this feeling I couldn't describe. Well I knew it felt wet.

Fast forward several months and I read the book The Things They Carried (amazing book). There was a description that exactly matched what I felt those few times. All I remember are the words "liquidy sensation." Apparently the character was in a depressive or stressful mood when it happened. I don't think that was the case with me.

Anyone care to enlighten me to what caused these chest pains and this liquid sensation. I remember from a CAT scan that my heart beat is slightly irregular and a possible cause for concern. I'm not at all worried about the scan and the pains but I would like to know. Thanks

Seeing as I am a qualified PokeNurse, it seems the only proper action here is to go ask a doctor.

And seeing as I'm a qualified Pokemon Breeder, I recommend the course of action be taken very soon, considering this may be severe.

I have no idea if this is what you are experiencing but, sometimes if one of the valves in your heart is having a problem, you will feel a whooshing feeling (like liquid) in your chest because the blood is not properly pumping through it, and the longer it lasts, the more discomfort you feel.

I'd see a doctor if the problem persists.

Seeing as I am an analyst and a therapist, I would recommend the proper course of action would be to see someone who can do more than just prescribe medication.

Might want a checkup a bit sooner than that.

Ya know, I thought this would be about Pepto Bismol. I was dead wrong.

Perhaps a trip to the library and a checkout of the family medical book is required. Or a trip to the doctor.
