Life is beautiful. People whin about to much and are blinded the blinding beauty. It's basically like looking at a piece of paper with a few black dots and you see the black dots first why? it will never be perfect. I understand looking for something better but don't let it blind you.

I mean after years of lives I,ve seen more ugly than good but when the wind blows and I see the light in the trees. I can feel all the good. I can see more than there is. I see not heaven but what life can be. I don't care is you believe in God or many gods or nothing you can still feel the world and see the amazing things. If I am crazy for this I thank the people who beat me, ***** me, hated all the small things about me, and anyone esle who has lead to my mental state. And to hardcore music listens I feel better than listening all the amazing songs. I wish I could truely show you how I see.

I don't know I know living so much.I figured out the meaning of life and I tryed telling my brother about and stuff. .. Nothing, no new beauty came into veiw. He could understand because I told him. Reall think about life and stuff when the time is right. If you just heard the meaning it wouldn't mean anything.

I just want to talk about life and junk. does anyone see what I can?

It's what my sig means. And it truely is sad.

Its because most people are deaf and blind to all the wonderful things around them because they're too focused on the bads in life.

yes that's a part of what i,m saying. Maybe that's why I can respectfully play as pichu. I can and know more flaws and pros than most.

But today I told" someone you know who sometimes you want time to go by fast, well that's happening to me this week. But you want it to go slow". She asked "why"? I said"because you want more life to enjoy and to be good times not bad as in now."

I think they should have Philosofily a common class I was like this before the class but It could wake people are as socrates would say the sleepwalkers. Oh crap that was a question I forgot to answer on the test. funny how it works out

Wanna see beauty? Go outside at any time of day and look up. To me, that is the most beautiful thing imaginable.

Thanks mewter. I guess this means I didn't waste the day. I have opened minds, inspired maybe 1 or 2 people about art like my sister, I,ve learned, and ive made this day meaning.

Yeah birds are lucky. I once stopped every thing I was doing to see a vine not hanging on anything. I just looked for 20 minutes amazed by how it spent it's whole life to get there and I could destroy everything on a whim. A sick thought process people have to destroy.

WOw it was 6 posts and 6 veiws for a sec.

You've got the poetic mind, my friend. I actually wrote a poem for one of my classes that relates to this - people are so caught up in the pressure and expectations of living in society that they don't appreciate the natural beauty around them. When I get all stressed out, I just look at the clouds, so high up, just floating. Good to know there are other people who appreciate life and everything it holds, even the bad stressful things.

So, something is only beautiful if it's created with hard work and passion? I disagree.

Not gonna lie, I lose sight of the greatness of life with tragic regularity. Mortality depresses like nothing else. But there is beauty everywhere. I was waiting for a late night bus the other night, and at the stop, I was just looking around. I decided to look up behind me, and there was the crescent moon rising through the thin layer of clouds. Magnificent. I'm a big fan of the moon. It's one of the most consistently effective mood-boosters for me just because of the awe it inspires. Then I remember that people have been there, and it's just even cooler.

Spending time outside or with a close friend always helps me see the beauty in life.

@ Scott!, The moon is kinda the same for me but it also makes me feel lonely because it makes me think about all the people I love that are far away from me. The thing that boosts my mood is the sun, especially when it is rising or setting, I love that.

I love this blog.

That sounds familiar. I love looking at the sky at night and anything space-related, but a friend of mine hates it because it makes him feel lonely. The sun doesn't do it for me, probably because I can't really look at it. I just wish I lived somewhere with less light pollution. It's strange that light pollution is like the biggest problem I have with living in Jersey. But seriously, even in our woods, you can't really see the Milky Way like at all. And I kind of need that in my life.

Yeah beauty can really be found in everything. I am glad to have made everyone feel good, you could partly blame this on the news, they never report anything good or say hey it's a great day you don't live in a box.

Everyday I say wow this day is going to be amazing and when someone says there doing fine I say that's great because they aren't bad. :) happy

"Life is beautiful", this is such a subjective claim, it's funny.
Go ask that little African kid if he thinks that "life is beautiful", I doubt he'll answer yes.

Life, in the essence, is something different yet similar for everybody. It is based on your thoughts, your brain, how you think. It's very subjective. It's amazing how un-understandable it is, but it is in no way definitely ugly or beautiful.

Clouds are beautiful, yes. But what is true beauty?
In fact, define "life". It's pretty vague when you think about it. Some people are just there, very negative. And some others can't help but be depressed for no apparent reasons. And guess what? They're the ones being perceived as weirdos.

What I'm trying to say is, what do you consider to be life, and what do you consider to be "the world"? Is it society? We haven't experienced natural life. We don't even have a purpose. Trashing on people that don't appreciate life is pretty dumb. I see your points guys, I love all natural beauties.

I love watching the stars at night. The clouds on clear days. The warmth of the sun.

In the end, I think that the world's ugly. Because the world was changed due to society, and society's made out of us. Humans. The human race is ugly, very very ugly. So basically, the world equals society. And our lives are based on this actual world, which is society.

Life = The World = Society.

Life is what you make of it. The world is how you see it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But I have to disagree with one thing you said. The world =/= society. There's so much more to the world than what we have constructed around us. There are (admittedly few) untouched areas of the earth. There's space. Just because society has messed a lot of stuff up doesn't make the world necessarily worse.

I also take issue because in my eyes, society has done a lot of good as well. I see beauty in the clear night sky, but I see it as well in the NYC skyline at night. Just the sheer manpower involved in creating and transforming every inch of the earth there, it's stunning. Plus, it's a beautiful sight. Also, Paris, possibly even more so, has this effect on me. If I could go back again, I could probably sit somewhere, at some random cafe or on top of the tower, and just look at everything for hours. There may not be beauty everywhere, it's far from restricted to Nature. To think otherwise is, to me, just too cynical of a way to think.
