Hey im a new smasher in the 818. Northridge area around porter ranch. I been playin street fighter my whole life and got about as far as a decent shffl in melee before i stopped. picked up brawl and have been havin fun trying to utilize all of the new techs that r out there. My hands are fast enough to handle everything, but coming from a sf scene (literally my whole life) i'm not exactly used to mind games and zoneing and how everything works in ssbb (nor did i kno in ssbm). I'm down to go to tourneys and sesssions whenever im not working or at school. I've always found that studying a game and exploiting (for lack of a better word) all of the advanced techniques is one of the funnest things to do with a game. It also brings skill level dramatically up imo. Also new to the boards so pm me if you have any info i might appreciate. hope to play u all soon =)
hey, im new to the community but ive been playing smash since the beginning, i live in the 818 area (obviously) but ive never been to any tournaments but would love to start. i live in the encino(/tarzana/woodland hills) area and am able to travel. i would love to get off this online lag/spam fest. my aim is F2D weridguy. i dont exactly understand how the whole "crew" thing works but it sounds fun.
