As for the American members, this thread is mainly for sharing European codes. They won't work on your US 3DS (As far as I know)

Nintendo sent out codes to random Club Nintendo users, 1 for yourself 3 for your friends/whoever

If you're a club nintendo member you might receive a code through an email. It's random, though. Which is why we're all here fishing for extra codes
