admittedly, i'm not a diehard fan, but i have always liked the bruins since my dad loves them. i hated seeing that they were playing the canadiens in the playoffs yet again, since historically they haven't done so well against them in the post season. but so far the bruins have looked great.

did anybody see game 2 of the Flyers/Pens game? that was a great game

You guys, the Wings are immortal. I thought this was common knowledge.

I really just hope Calgary can man up and actually beat Chicago.

Seriously, nothing makes a Canadian city more fun then having their team in the playoffs.

Yes! The Ducks are up 2-0 on the Sharks. Hiller's doing a good job holding up the fort in net. I was originally hoping for Gigure but if Hiller is getting the job done it doesn't matter. I hope Anaheim can go far. They finished the season strong. If they somehow get by San Jose the Red Wings will be a very tough opponent.

The Saddledome is the best at playoff time. The C of Red it too cool. I've never been to an NHL game but I'd like to attend the Saddledome someday during playoff time.

It's actually the most amazing thing.

It's hard to explain the insane amount of energy that is going on.

The Canucks/Blues series just ended. Great game 4. Luongo was a beast in net. I'm not sure how good the Blues are but the Canucks appear to be a threat in the Western Conference.

The Ducks and Sharks are tied at 3 going into the 3rd period. I hope Anaheim will pull ahead 3-0 in the series. Should be a great rest of the game.

I am torn with the ducks and the sharks.

I hate the sharks so much, But i thought they would win for sure. So even tho i disliked them I still bet on them in my hockey pool.

I dont know what to think

Penguins r teh winahs! I hate all of Pittsburgh's sports teams besides them. I'm originally from Michigan, and I used to be a hockey player, so naturally, Detroit is my favorite team.

Stanley Cup finals last year were a joy for me, because I hate rooting for both teams. Good luck to all teams except Montreal. I hate the stupid Canadiens.

I'm calling Rangers and Canucks for cup.

****'s going to hit the fan and every one in Vancouver is going to be spastastic.

And the 4-0 sweep was nice. If I recall, this is the Canuck's first sweep ever. So this was pretty awesome.

You'll be right about the Vancouver fans. When watching the Ducks/Sharks game on CBC last night they showed footage of fans celebrating on a street. Two or three of them were taking push brooms and moving them like it was curling in front of a car. That was funny. Were they celebrating because they made it to round 2 or because it was the Canucks first sweep?

Hopefully the rest will help them for the next round with all the injuries they have.

Ha, Red Wings won for the third time. That makes it 3-0.

It was a good game, 4-1 Red Wings was the final score. The first goal was good stuff, a little over a minute and the Red Wings were already up on them by one.

Alright Anaheim won. Just one more win and it's on to Detroit. That last win won't be easy though because all San Jose has to do is win game 5 at home and they'll be riding confidence into game 6. I don't believe the Ducks would fall like that however anything is possible when playing against the No. 1 overall seed in the NHL.

Rangers and Capitals should be a great game tomorrow night.

Canadiens were done by the middle of the third game, they were just completely worn out it seems. Bruins definitely look like the top team in the East but even I'll admit that the Canadiens were the easiest team to beat in this years playoffs. Go Bruins!

I myself am a die hard Sharks fan, always have been. The Ducks are surprising me, as I never thought that they would have a chance of picking apart the Sharks the way they are... so much respect Ducks fans.

The Wings... my god. Scary.
'Nucks took it to the house! Very entertaining to watch that sweep.

Oh yeah. About 5 min ago my room mate informed me that his mom's company just got some playoff tickets for us for free. I can't believe how lucky I am. Anyways I'll be at the game on Saturday. WOO

Woohoo! Two game 7's in the East. Maybe there will be two game 7's in the West. This would make an awsome close to the 1st round.

Lets go Pens ;). 5 unanswered points. I forget who are we playing next?
It all depends on who wins Tuesday night in the East. In the NHL the highest seed always plays the lowest. If Washington and New Jersey wins than the Penguins will play Boston. If New York and New Jersey wins than the Pens will play against the Devils.

The Ducks won. Now it's onto Detroit where Anaheim will probabally lose in 5 or 6. The Ducks have been on a hot streak the last few weeks which is the most important thing come playoff time......but so has the Red Wings.....plus they swept.

This will be the 5th time in 7 playoff trips Anaheim has had to play Detroit. Playoff series history between the two is 2-2. Ducks could pull this off but they'll have to absolutly be at their best. They'll need Hiller to pull a Giguere performance from 2003. 2007 Champions vs. 2008 Champions. Let's get it on!

man **** the wings. seriously.

now that that's outta the way, i was sad to see the blues go but i expected and came to term with it when they had to play the nucks. i think i want the nucks to get the cup, as ive been doing a fair amount of cheering for them because of my best friends fiancee.

the bruins... boston is just on fire when it comes to sports. why are they such a powerhouse?

I hope the cup is between the bruins and the nucks. that would cause some pretty epic rivalries between my friend group. hahaha.

Red Wings are just too good. Chalk it up as 1-0!
Ahh! Only a few seconds away from overtime. The Ducks scored with minimal time left in the 2nd to tie the game anyways so I guess you could call it retribution. Good Game. I hope Game 2 will be smashing.
