No opponent has an usmash or up b that can cover the range (wait... maybe... IKE!?)
You're not in grab range.
oh wait, there's also 9 frames of shield lag.
So they have to let go of their shield.

But then they're human, and humans have a non-M2K response time.
5 frames.
So in 5 frames they have to make up the difference in distance to punish you. Give or take the average move is 10 frames, they have to TIME TRAVEL BACK about 5-10 frames to cover the difference. DOESN'T REALLY HAPPEN.
