Correction James, there's been an unforeseen change of events. I can't join for 3 to 6 months... so I'll be going to Melee Tourneys until then!

Not posting a results thread just yet but... it's true! I accidentally deleted the brackets for singles when correcting doubles. Whoops.

I'll be making a Houston Melee thread and in about a week announcing the next tournament as well. And since the scene is growing even past it's original size I will be looking into a new venue as well.

by win, i meant tournament win. And I'm not being a "hata" lol. I thought Ronnie was really good since I first saw him play cave and xelic in teams at DABR in Dallas. He's probably one of the best in texas (possibly the best)...I'm just saying you can't claim the title like that with one tournament win against the best in a 16-man bracket tourney.

I would argue that Xelic is the best in Texas right now because at both TGMTSBCO and FAST (two of the larger melee tourneys in the country this year) Xelic placed higher than cave, getting 7th place, then 5th place. (He even eliminated cave at TGMTSBCO). Plus Xelic consistantly beats wobbles.

see the difference? xelic beat cave in 2 NATIONAL LEVEL tournaments.

btw why did you ban brinstar?? Do you always ban it against sheiks/peaches, or did you know i was gonna pick it, or what?
