Looool I've been failing lately. I lost to a Lucario who knows Olimar inside and out, and I know absolutely nothing about the matchup. I had a bit of a fail bracket :/

I'm hoping to get back on a winning streak soon, I took Tyrant and DSF to 3rd game 2 weeks ago and I really shoulda won both sets, each game was very close. Last weekend was a bit discouraging but Imma try to bounce back strong this weekend.

Was it like a supa aggressive lucario who you seemed to get to 70-90% and then had a lot of trouble dealing with? Or one that will just come in and rush you with aerials and kill you redonkulously fast? <.<

Also, I wish you luck on trying to pull a winning steak! I know I'd like to see more go into your random ideas thread :D

I still haven't seen videos of Pyronic playing.

i'm lazy :D and neo and m2k got good from watching/copying vids, in brawl adhd got good from watching/copying NL vids... its a pretty selfish reasoning... but i don't see the point in me allowing someone else to let me do all the work, watch my vids... and get "good" thus i send people links to livestream, or will gladly answer questions or encourage them to watch me play at tournies... at least they are putting forth some effort this way imo

thus, i don't record vids :D but i may upload me/boss vs malcomM and Ninjalink... the 0 to death combo on NL including a bike from wario was just too funny XD

i didn't say that was their only way... but m2k/neo will gladly tell you that they studied vids along with practice to get better
and its no secret that adhd watched tons of NL vids, thus NL often has his vids on private -.-

and i don't know/like all of the oli mains tbh, i went through the i wanna get everyone better phase, i'm now done with it and don't really care to get everyone better *shrugs* if people want to get better that bad they can gladly ask a question on aim and i'll gladly respond.... but i don't watch vids to get better... i don't see why i should make it easier for people that i don't know to get better. obviously some people put forth effort... but that random guy no one knows that puts in minimal effort by sitting at a desk and studies vids to get better... i'm not down with that, its kinda selfish but meh

Meh I feel that helping everyone else around you get better makes you better, because you can bounce ideas off each other. Plus when you teach someone how to counter something you're doing, you figure out a way to counter that, and you learn more options, etc.

I don't really want videos myself, although I did learn a thing or 2 playing against weruop repeatedly at Genesis. Friendlies against him essentially helped me drop my bad habit of attacking shields when landing. I rarely land next to a shield, but before if I absolutely had to land next to a shield I would just attack, he showed me better options.

I'd like to think I've taught people here some stuff too

Skankums: Don't worry I'm gonna start ****** again, I feel sooooo close to a breakthrough of sorts. I'm taking this weekend (and possibly next weekend, if I get this wedding gig) off to recoup, I'm practicing here and there during the week, but Imma **** the next tourney I go to
