I don't know if this has been mentioned already (I don't want to dig through 50+ pages) but there's a couple things wrong with the Melee list...

Great Bay is listed banned twice (EXTRA banned maybe?)
Kongo Jungle (one with the waterfall) is apparently a legal counterpick...
Pokemon Stadium isn't neutral also, WTF

I think great bay is the reason I started playing doc seriously way back when LOL.

PS isnt nuetral anymore sadly, thats not a mistake.

i also happen to love kongo jungle, it makes you madd good at techskill cus you actually have to pay attention to the screen in order to l cancel correctly because of the shifting of the ground.

speaking of techskill.

edit: also i waveshined three people at once time before. it was a 2v2. i was even waveshining my partner

edit: @ goggles... that kj64 advice for learning l-cancels... i wish i heard that when i first started playing. i need to offer that advice to more people ! nice goggles. we should make a WNY/CNY how to get better at melee guide lol.

Tech skill is cheap, just takes you sitting down in front of the game.

The majority of the region needs to step their tech skill up. Lets get at it.

ya for real it's all i did for years never even played a person.

do it right before bed time your memory retains the most muscle memory that way

it also depends on your controller mine has like two more tournaments left if that then i am set back like 6 months breaking the new controller in but then im gold

If theirs anything Ive learned from practicing tech skill its Falco is easier in everything. You name it, waveshine back and forth, Shine-platform waveland, Double shining. Just general tech skill like L cancels I just find easier with falco.

@Mana **** tech skill, Falcon it up man! jk, in seriousness how good are you at jc shines/how many can you do in a row?

Lets go over the list of people that came to this region and was talking junk about winning.

Cura, has been coming to our tournaments since last fall, hasnt won anything but doubles one time yet, and rarely places in the money for singles.

Foy, lost to a zelda and didnt even break top 10, nuff said.

so dont be surprised when you come up here expecting easy money and get knocked out of the tournament by some ***** youve never heard of named Maverick.

to answer your question.

probably. we havent thought that far in to the future, but I like to have community input as to what are good days to run my tourneys, and bry does the same, so we do them whenever the most people can show up.

Thats right. Melee in WNY is like the side event that you have outside in the cold weather because its too hype to have inside.
