There'll always be crazy people in... well, any fandom.
In every aspect of life, in fact. No matter where you go, someone'll be there to try and ruin your fun, the best you can do is ignore them.

there are also well known AC youtubers saying really harsh/mean things about time travel players..like are you for real? who are they to say how i'm supposed to play AC?
yeah i time travel to get more bells, hell i have a huge project i'm working on and i simply can't do it without enough bells, i want a japanese themed island soooo i'm also time traveling to get japanese themed items or at least i try to..
i also time travel to get a certain villager at my camp site..and i am not sorry about it cause even Nintendo said it's not cheating and that people can play it however they want.

I've been contemplating doing a little time traveling myself just to make the first few days of the game a little faster paced so I can get into the main game sooner, but idk

It's Animal Crossing. ANIMAL CROSSING. There's no competitive multiplayer or leaderboards - it is literally just a game where you catch bugs and make friends - you might as well scold someone for cheating at Nintendogs.

She also compared time traveling to aimbotting in a shooter. Aimbotting is a bannable offense that ruins the fun for other players. Time traveling causes zero harm to other players, and Nintendo even supports it lmao

I'm not saying I disagree, but when has Nintendo come out in support of time travelling?
