i'll never forget that one of my classmates in middle school drew a portrait of waluigi as a parody of the mona lisa and he painted the hotel mario mushroom kingdom background behind him

not only that, but im pretty sure it got framed and encased on a glass shelf too

When I was in college art class, there was one assignment to draw a self-portrait of yourself in any style you want, and someone else in the class drew themselves as their Mii.

I once had a surreal art assignment and I drew a picture of a gigantic jesus with a bowling ball for a head over a bowling themed city. It got a way higher mark than it deserved and the teacher said she wanted to enter it into a student-led art show until that got canceled due to covid.

That's an interesting story you got there, buddy.
