Another good thing with 14 costumes: you could use 3 or 4 costumes for SSB4 Samus. I really like her design from Other M.

Actually here the hurtboxes look even weirder.

I think the exact opposite. IMO Fox and Falco looked terrible in melee. And SSB4 Sonic is way better than in brawl, he looks a lot more like classic Sonic: with shorter spines, a better color and I love his new smile. I guess I prefer "kinder" versions to "badass". :)
