Important Carefully Ask PPMD about the Tiara Guy

It'd be much easier to help you out if you posted a video or something similar (and there's thread for that). If you are constantly being beaten by f-tilt, try crouch canceling more and spacing with d tilt or baiting him into doing preemptive f-tilts.

Important Carefully Ask PPMD about the Tiara Guy

It really depends on how the ICs react to it or where they get sent off to. A good option that not many know about is just walking after the d tilt hits and doing another lol. Walking makes it so you can easily hit with the tipper and even if they shield, you will be safe.

Important Carefully Ask PPMD about the Tiara Guy

I'm beginning to think Yoshi's might be worse for Marth than Dreamland against Fox (Dreamland is still the worst stage Marth has against Peach, Sheik, Puff etc). In Yoshi's Fox gets a lot of recovery and ledge options, kills you quicker and can run over you pretty easily. In Dreamland you have...

    Help with WD OoS

You are rolling because you are moving the stick before the jump actually starts instead of during the jumpsquat animation. You can get away with doing that when you are standing or dashing etc since there's not such a big drawback from it but if you are shielding, it can cause you to roll. The...

Data Kadano's perfect Marth class -- advanced frame data application

best way is to record yourself and analyze your videos frame by frame. Kinda hard without that. You could play around with 20xx and make cpu spam actions out of shield (roll, shine, grab, nair etc) but still wouldn't be able to tell if you are being frame perfect but it would help you get a feel...

Data Kadano's perfect Marth class -- advanced frame data application

There's a link to the wiki on post #1 http://www.ssbwiki.com/Turn Read section Smash Turn. Basically you need to enter the area that says smash turn in 1 frame (see image), otherwise you get the slow turn.

Data Kadano's perfect Marth class -- advanced frame data application

post #25 (page 1). No precise inputs tho but you can test them out yourself on 20XX if you want or just try to get a feeling for it. Drop as low as you can and try to regrab. Be sure to let go of the ledge on the first frame possible (use frame counter on 20xx to make sure you are doing it right)

Data Kadano's perfect Marth class -- advanced frame data application

I've always thought you hold the ledge for the whole duration of roll, attack and stand but I might be wrong (no idea of how long you hold on when jumping) It'd be interesting to know how it works if it's not like that. If I had a second controller I would test it but I currently don't have any.

    Falco Matchup Help

http://smashboards.com/threads/dealing-with-laser-pressure-and-approaching.409563/ Similar thread (I have a detailed answer over there, post #7). If you can deal with lasers you won't get stuck in shield so often. Ignore the counter trolls

Uses for short hop double fair?

When comboing. Retreating double fair (or pivot double fair) can be good, too. It catches a lot of opponents that try to get into your space or that recklessly jump at you. Fair is a really good anti air move, the second fair lets you keep going after you swat someone out of the air with the...

    Marth's Angled Up-B

Does the extra frame give Marth extra air time, meaning it could help him stay in the air longer, therefore making roll from the ledge not as effective? Or does he start falling at the same time he normally does but isn't able to grab the ledge until later? I mean, it still wouldn't make much of...

Why does The Moon use N-air so much?

I think most of the time he uses nair as a "get off of me" move or to catch people jumping. He also uses it to approach sometimes and that's when he gets punished for doing it. Right now I'm kinda busy but you should check out some of his games and see when he uses it and why.

Marth vs Link advice, tips & help!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JDdwDdratI That's a really good one since Fly talks about the match-up during the video. You should all take a look at it There's a local link player who's around my level so I have some experience in the match-up. Shield angling is really important here. A lot...

Countering Jigglypuff Crouch cancel to Fsmash

CC to punish is one of the best tools Jigglypuff has in the match up but using it for f smash is kind of a waste. F smash starts on frame 12 so most of the time you can shield it and there are better alternatives for Jiggs (like grab and rest).
