    which is why mostly 1 amp is assumed unless stated otherwise.

    I explained how you can get the new wattage without having the find the voltage,
    technically V=W if A=1

    and if A=3
    V=W when A=1
    and VxA=W

    then 3V=3W
    along that direct relationship, multiply your watts by three.
