This has been the only info regarding Fortnite in Smash https://screenrant.com/fortnite-smash-bros-crossover-possible/ still it doesn't mean much exactly about a character reveal, Suda51 had the same 'No comment' answer about No More Heroes in Smash and now Travis became a Mii costume.

Now I'm imagining the reveal being Swedish Chef being Fighter 8 and now I made myself sad knowing that won't happen.

The Game Awards are pretty much around the corner now. How are we all feeling about a Fighter #8 being revealed? I'm being cautiously optimistic myself right now, I'll be hyped if it does but not gonna hold my breath either like others did last year.

I would think it's possible, all depending if Nintendo and/or Sakurai feel like they want to. Personally I feel like Sakurai should take it easy for awhile, though if a 3rd pass does happen I wouldn't mind it. Of course it all depends if Geno makes it into Pass 2 or not. If yes, then sure...
