I’m stuck at trying unlocking Roy...if there were a level 10 CPU, this would be it. He’s even harder than any human that I’ve ever played against. It’s ridiculous and the CPUs in this game have definitely been buffed up to an insane level.

Like others have said, online mode is an embarrassment and complete mess. Every 5 seconds, a huge lag occurs and it throws off my focus. Nintendo really needs to get dedicated servers.

Is there an easy way to learn short-hop? It makes a huge difference in gameplay. I really need to learn it if I want to get good at this game in Glory mode. I also absolutely need it since I'm trying to main Captain Falcon. Any tips?

I completely agree. The circle pad isn't for smash... I really am hoping the new 3DS XLs will be geared toward smash 3DS. The circle pad is just too flat and has really no precision.

Yes that is exactly like my situation. I get lucky when I am able to pull off smash attacks. My main right now is Captain Falcon and it's crucial that I learn how to smash efficiently! I just now found out that lv 7 CPUs are apparently the best to practice against, and it's true!

I'll try that. I tend to tap the circle pad too lightly and I wonder if this might be the problem. Thanks for the CPU level info, I've tried against lv 7 and it's actually very balanced unlike lv 9!
