That is very good to read, because as you may have noticed, I'm slightly in love with the movie. Not everyone's as sold on it as we are, but I'm kind of glad for that. Hopefully that will keep it from becoming too huge for its own good and keep the obligatory haters to a minimum. Not that I'm a protective fanboy or anything.
Unfortunately, this is the first of Spike Jonze's movies I've gotten around to seeing. Hopefully I'll be able to rectify that soon.

I guess it's just more of a presence you have. I don't think your opinions are unwelcome, but I think they're often different from almost everyone else's. Plus, you just know your stuff. And to me, that gives you a reputation. I guess it might just be me who thinks this because I don't know that I've seen other people state it outright, but that's how I see you.

Oh I love the Shaggs. But you cannot deny that their music simply is some of the worst ever... I can't even use the words 'composed' or 'written'. I was actually just talking about them with a friend of mine as we were leaving Denny's last night, saying that there's no way we could like them if not for their complete lack of talent. If they actually sounded slightly decent, I'd cast 'em off as garbage, but they are not.

Modern gaming isn't that horrible nowadays, but retro(N64 for me) was much better. In my opinion, those were Nintendo's best days.
I thought Paper Mario: The Thousand Year door was good, along with Galaxy. Are they the best, definitely not. Possibly a little overrated, but I thought they were good.

That's actually hilarious, because unless I've got worse memory than a goldfish, I'm pretty sure that's not me (although I do have a casual fondness for The Dresden Dolls and have been meaning to look into Amanda Palmer's new album).
I suspect that reviewer got his name from the same source that I did — A tour that I believe The Dresden Dolls were apart of a couple of years ago. Seems it wasn't such an original idea to steal after all.
