    Merge the copied post of the new OP with the first post in the thread. In the merge options, choose the old post date but the new person.

    I think the other TO and I will probably print up some posters soon, and paper up the schools. We might be able to luck out a bit that way. And hit up some community bulletins, you never know.

    But yeah, it's hard to get new members for a pretty niche game in such a small city. :(

    The problem is that there are no arcades in our area, and we have to bring all of our own equipment, and beyond Halifax, everything else is pretty much the boonies. Also, geographically speaking, Montreal is the closest place with a scene that I know of. New Brunswick is generally pretty slack about their video games, or so it would seem.

    And not that Montreal is that far, but it still costs a fair amount to get there.

    Either way, it's becoming increasingly apparent that we're awesome and should collaborate on art sometime. Perhaps an incremental digital trade-off process.

    It's pretty small, but we have some pretty dedicated players. I'm actually trying to figure out how to make it grow some more at this point. When MvC3 comes out, we're gonna see if we can run some sort of biweekly with it along with our BB biweekly, and hopefully, we can pick up some extra players from that.

    I just moved to Dallas and this was my first phase so i don't know everyone's names but I want to say one of them had dphat... the people we lost to were no slouches. The people we won were good too. I had a fun time with everyone and my Jigglypuff was able to hold her own when I used her.

    I'm at a friends place right now and I have confirmation classes tomorrow from 1-3ish. Outside of that I pretty free.

    I went Kirby/Jigglypuff and he went Bowser. Our first match was against a Yoshi and a Wario, we won 2-1. Last stock on last game was epic, it was just me against the Yoshi, very close % wise I managed to get him with a f-smash and secure the win.

    The next team was against a Wario and a Meta knight, we lost

    Next team was... another Wario and a Meta knight, we lost rofl!

    We still did very, very good given Kirby/Bowser isn't exactly the best combination and both of our tiers are low and we were up against. Kirby isn't really viable imo, I know another Dallas kirby who wants to drop him and I don't blame him. He got much worse as the meta game advanced. I didn't enter singles for several reasons, i left after doubles because I can't take stimulation (migrane prone) and im not paying 10 dollars to get knocked out by a meta knight. I might have to pick up Falco because all I have is Kirby/Jiggz/Lucas ><

    Its not a pocket MK its my secondary, I almost go even with Seirbik's metaknight. and he mains metaknight and is the best in florida.
