Yes, we know the intent, but that doesn't change the reason why (a large number of people) on this site are here, or even why this site is here to begin with. A place for Smashers to have a sense of community. Back in the days when it started, you can easily bet that most people played it competitively.

If you play for fun, that's cool.

However, when you make excuses for why you don't do X, Y, or Z, that's a john. My john meter is pretty sensitive since I deal with the Atlantic South. So, anytime you mention that you can't do something in Smash, I will point you to where (or how) you can do it, then say: "No johns. "

I dunno: I am trying to get you @ least interested in Melee, because I see way too many people playing Brawl because of the "I'm not a tourneyf@g/Graphics are bad/I SUK" johns all the time. Once you learn how to play, you really don't want to stop.

Well, there are the several times I call Mewter out, but I do that all the time. Nothing new to see there...as for my one spat with GOD!, he came to my tourney, and there was no bad blood. So, all is well there, for now.

I have every single welcome I posted in the Meet & Greet. Every single one. Okay, so let's scratch Researcher off the list.
As for being a debater: It doesn't necessarily matter that you have flaws in your arguements, but rather if your progression as a PGer shows improvement over time. As for RDK being there, I can count the number of posts he's made in about three months on two hands. No johns.
It's not the hottest look to act like tourneys are garbage. The rules are pretty much constant (3 stock, 8 minutes, no items, no johns). It's cool that you don't want to play, but keep in mind that does limit where you could post intelligibly on the site.
As for being an Artist or Writer: Seems that you found something to do. So get cracking!

However, I have been known to be a frame-tearer, and I will be exercising that right here:

It seems for the past couple of weeks you just continually complain about the boards. When I ask you what you find interesting here, you list a few things, but never really seem to advance in a direction where your interests can be used to your advantage on here. For example, you wanted to be a debater. So, you post a good thread. However, you seem to rest on your laurels with it and you don't follow through with another, nor do you stay close on CK to make sure you let him know that he needs to add you. That is a definite yp there.

As well, I did mention to you that I have become a TO, but that doesn't make me a TW as a result. I have decided to start hosting tourneys because I saw a gap that could be filled in my Smash community. True, WABA isn't the worst place in the world, but with the way that place is bleeding money (the owner may even sell it soon enough) due to a crappy economy, it isn't too feasible. As well, it is 35 miles from where I am, and no where that is easily accessible by public transportation. So, I make a tourney that is both easy to get to and affordable. True, I still have a lot to learn about being a TO, but I will work on it until I get it right.

What should you take away from this? Stop complaining about what you don't like on the boards, and take action to make it better! Host tourneys for your buddies, frame those glitches and frame rate data you seem to like, get in the DH. Whatever you do, what you're doing right now definitely is not working.
