I think he is a great game designer but I think you are not giving enough credit to those he consulted with. I truly doubt that the decision to include Greninja was a unilateral one.

I'm not sure I understand the huge following. Why put him in over Mario characters that have made a much bigger impact on the history of both Mario and Nintendo as a whole? Paper Mario, King Boo, Birdo, Bowser Jr., etc., all deserve a spot over Geno... not that there's anything wrong with Geno...

I don't think they'll be remade in time for Smash Wii U. Possibly not at all. Kind of mad that there's no Gen 2 rep in Smash anymore and that they put in irrelevant Lucario over so many options that would have made more sense.

I hardly call the "tech skill" present in Melee and absent in Brawl "technical". And I certainly don't call it "skill".

The Wii Remote (by itself) is definitely the worst controller option for SSBB. I highly recommend just using the Gamecube controller.
