Tournament advice?

Well, for starters, going all Ness is admirable, but it's also important to know your limits. Consider the amount of experience you have against Ness'/your worst matchups and assess whether or not you need a secondary for such matches. I'd prefer you or any other Ness player use a secondary on occasion if needed and take top 3 than try go all Ness and get knocked out prematurely. But if you have confidence in your Ness, and you know you can take down tough opponents regardless of s or s, then go for it. Another thing, if you plan on playing friendlies beforehand, try not to reveal your hand to the opponent too early. Don't display every trick and strategy you plan to use in the tournament matches, because then they'll have time to figure out how to overcome you. I made this mistake recently. I was 3-stocking people in friendlies, probably because everyone else knew not to try 100% in matches of no consequence. And then I didn't do as well come tournament time. So yeah, just try not to go overboard in friendlies if you can help it. Other than that, good luck and rep Ness like there's no tomorrow.

I don't think having the LCD would change my play style much or at all. It would only help on VERY split second things. So it's not a huge deal.

There's nothing that can fix that except getting a faster TV. >.< Because the Wii doesn't have them fancy HD cables, the lag is even worse because it has to upscale it.
The lag isn't horrible, but it is so that you'd notice. CRTs have no lag, but man do I get a headache when I play those! >.<
I heard that they now make LCDs for gamers! They only have a 2ms delay! When most have 8 or (If they're good) 4. Mine is a little higher (Between 15 and 25) but not bad. The DLP has at least 100ms lag. I can make two circles with the Wiimote pointer in the menu, and it will display only one loop by the time I finish the second one. =/

Don't worry, I can't chain grab that well online.

Oh, I knew that. xD But if I'm going to tether, it's going to be when I'm in range, and you are always trying to spike me, so if I tried to do a nair or fair, you would kill me, and if I tried to do a aerial when I'm in range that would kill me too because I'd just fall to my doom; I guess I just need t practice up a bit on timing my rope-snake. =/

LOL! Anyways: I'm going to try to get that LCD soon. I have an LCD, but I don't have it here right now... The DLP is nice, but it's more than 4 times as laggy as the LCD (The DLP took me FOREVER to calibrate on GH3!). And CRTs give me a headache, so I'm not even going to try that again... >.<

I think if you are tumbling, you air dodge instead of rope-snake.
