  • Bah, sorry man, hope I'm not too late.

I tested out some colors and I think both green (lime-y) and a light purple/dark pink work pretty well. Personally, I'd choose the pink/purple option. For a reference point on the color, look at the pink/purple standard colors in paint. Not the magenta single color, the other ones. Although obviously less bright and...well, shaded weird.
    THAT TRAUMA CENTER VIDEO.

    AMAZING.

    ZOMBIE CANCER!
I almost want to change my avatar to a picture of that guy and have my location be "ZOMBIE CANCER!"
    Haha, yeah.

Now I don't feel so bad about chopping him into tiny bits.

Also, I'LL GIVE YOU MONEY IF YOU PERFORM 63 TASKS THAT REQUIRE YOU TO RUN AROUND IN CIRCLES FOR SEVEN HOURS.

I HATE YOU, YOU NEVER VISIT ME!!!!
Yep, we're still here. Gate's open, just head right through. :D

    I'll check the sprite out.
Hey MK, Yaya and I are in my town (well, obviously I am). Are you busy now or do you want to hang with us?
I don't know how to get them to change...I would guess it's once a week that they change or something to that effect, but I haven't actually tested it myself.

Haha, yeah, we should DEFINITELY have a CPS party!
Hey "Peachy", it's me....the "Cuddle Monster". I'm here to steal ur pigeons.
Oh, and tell Brian that he looks like a turd dipped in ugly juice, fried in oil, and covered with AIDS.

    AAA you're so ********

I'm gonna grind up on a ***** so hard I'm gonna get an STD!
I would say yes, but there's probably nothing going on in my town at the moment and I unfortunately don't have access to my Wii at the moment.
Why didn't you just message me? Posting a visitor message is public. I think you want the others to find out.
At practice today Beau told me that I'm his BEEST diver.
He gave me a big star sticker and told me I was better than Kenny in every way possible and that he should go die.
Heh. Well, considering I was hitting him with an axe, I suppose I would give off a "lumberjack" vibe. :p

Nice. I got K.K. Calypso on my first night, so I ended up going to another K.K. Slider night (I hate K.K. Calypso) and got Forest Life. :)

I changed my overall hair style too -- I slightly changed the style and changed it green. Also, I remembered that I wanted to wear the original Animal Crossing hat in City Folk (until I get my Samus Helmet, of course) so I made a design with a Cucco on it (the sprite from A Link to the Past) and am now wearing it as a hat. Also, shortly after I left your town, I made a design with Samus's Morph Ball sprite (Gravity Suit, Super Metroid) for my shirt. I made that one a pro design, so it's got the picture on the front and the rest of it is just black.

As I posted in the CF thread, I paid off my second debt and I've almost got 500 points at Nook's. I'm debating over whether I should...
    A) Start saving my money to spend on Nook's store when he does a bonus point day (as in, 2x as many points for a day)
    B) Put my money towards finishing off my debt first
    C) Start donating to the town so I can get a bridge to make my town not-so-inconvenient

Also, I apparently read the chart wrong accidentally...it's 6,000 for the helmet. Bah. I suppose it's better that I found about it now as opposed to when I have 5,000 points and I don't see it available.

In other news, I went to the city yesterday and the cones were FINALLY out of the way to the right -- so I went into the Resetti Surveillance Center and got myself a Silver Shovel. :D
Hang on, I had an unexpected inconvenience...give me another 10 minutes or so, and I'll be good to go.

Do you want to go to my town or me go to yours?
I need your friend code, your town name, and your name.

    Mine are...

    Name: Firus
    Town Name: Brinstar
    Friend Code: 4812 - 0470 - 6927
Well, yeah. That's what I said. It wouldn't be item codes or money codes, but fun codes like the jump code and the in-game time change code.
I totally agree with you -- cheating like that at all seems to suck the point out of the game.

I'll be glad to pick up a Bug-Catching Net for you, I should definitely be able to find one.

And yeah, I'm up for Wi-Fi tonight if you are. Just drop me a line when/if you want to.
Why not use Homebrew? I don't intend to use money codes or anything, if I did, it'd just be things like jump and in-game time change.
Oh my god, I've GOT to see that when you get it done.

Just remember to work the line "It's the road, where you go, when you diiieee..." somewhere in there. :p

I have yet to decide on themes...thus far, the most of a "theme" I have is that I have a Mush Lamp, a Mush TV, and a Mush End Table. I would have two more pieces of Mush furniture, except instead of getting new ones I got another TV and another Lamp. Meh.

Thus far, I have 148 Points. I spent a good amount of money at Nook's, especially since I actually did not have the 60 or 70 I THOUGHT I did...I think I had something like 20 Points? Or maybe 40? Bah, my memory's shot at the moment.
That is the epitome of epicocity (which is obviously a word).

    But seriously, that's awesome.

Even more awesome; Tom Nook's closing for remodeling tomorrow, meaning...well, LOTS of good things. AND I got my Golden Shovel, so I'm happy. I'm going to bury my extra shovel to make into another one so if you don't have one yet, I can give you that one.
I've never really thought about it yet. It's an interesting idea...though it would have to be run by SP first. I'm still waiting to be officially part of the group too. He probably has a lot on his plate at the moment.

    And thank you. :)
    Yeah, that's what I figured.
The points are probably optional to spend...right? Otherwise it's going to take FOREVER to get it.

I just realized, the Hero's Cap and the Mask...the Mask is probably an accessory, and the Cap a hat, so would you be able to wear them together? That'd be AWESOME.

But yeah, if I see a Luigi Hat, I will definitely get it for you.

The "Sweets Theme"...yeah. That's pretty much the only thing I want from GracieGrace, albeit it's still going to cost me both my arms, both my legs, my head, my torso, and my soul.

If you see any Nintendo items at all that you don't want/get a duplicate of, pick them up for me. I'll pay you back in full.
I'm glad to see the Metroid come back...I want a pet. =D
Yep. And in all fairness, I was pretty much like WTFOMFGYAY!!!!!!! in both real life and on AIM (I was on AIM with Spire at the moment, and we were both geeking out).

Wait, WHAT? It resets at 500?
Oh. When you get items from them, you SPEND them. Which I suppose means I can get all of the items, but it's going to be an absolute *****. Either way, I'm going to have to watch my mail like a hawk; I want to upgrade the store ASAP, get some money stored up (like, 50 grand, maybe more?) and the first time he offers more points for buying on a day like he did in Wild World (and will do in this game, as the guide says), I'm going to buy out the ENTIRE store. No joke. It'll certainly rack up a good amount of points. I need to spend at least 500,000 Bells to get that Samus Mask, so...better get cracking.

In fact, I think I'm going to pay off my first debt and start saving for that. Maybe pay off the second one, too. The debts are actually pretty cheap in this game, so I could probably try to pay it off first, but I want that Samus Mask. A LOT. As well as the Varia Suit.
Bah...I was looking in the index to find where the slingshot was (trying to make sure you could buy it at Nook's), I was flipping through and I saw Majora's Mask...which led me to the page that it was on (because I wanted to see if it was wearable), which led me to see...well, you know. I tried not to spoil it.

Either way, I am MORE than pleasantly surprised (and Spire is thrilled about Majora's Mask). And I assume you saw the matching shirts, right? Aw, awesome. I have to spend my money like CRAZY.

I'm just confused by "or" in the way to get it. Does that mean that my character can only get one? 'Cause I REALLY want Majora's Mask, too, and both outfits.
Ohh, I thought you were saying you got it already. Either way, thanks for the tip.
The reason you have that many points is because I BELIEVE you get a point for every 100 Bells you spend. If you bought the watering can, shovel, and fishing rod, that'd total 1500 Bells so that makes sense.

    As for the letter/bulletin board...haha, that's great.
In the original Animal Crossing, one of my friends got a sign board, made a design that said "Nook Outlet" and stuck it in front of the Dump's sign. That made me laugh so hard.
Yeah, I'll definitely be sure not to look. I don't want it spoiled. If it's after 300...phew, that's a ways to go. But I'm going to work at it. Although I don't know if you've noticed, but a tip on the points; every time you go into the shop, once a day, if you access the machine and go to Visitor Points you earn 3 points just for going there. Pretty handy.

Thus far, I've got two shovels, a fishing rod, and a net. I haven't found a watering can yet, or a slingshot. And the second shovel is for the golden shovel. At the moment it's lying in a hole behind my house, waiting to come out as a golden shovel (I sort of miss the old system where you got a gold tree out of which it dropped instead, but this way is certainly easier since you don't have to worry about it growing improperly/dying).

I haven't bought any flowers yet, either. Although I stole the flowers Tom Nook gave me. :p
And I also sent out a letter saying "Tom Nook is EVIL." as the letter I had to write for my job. And since he said he wanted me to write "something young kids will like" on the board, I wrote "Something young kids will like." as my message. :p
Oh, heh. For whatever reason, I thought you said to upgrade the store AND get shopping points. My bad.

So wait, is it at 300 that that item appears? Or is it later?
Right now I think I have something like 60 or 70 points, so I need to get cracking on getting money and spending it like crazy.

As for the city, it's not a huge deal...it's interesting, but for all of the hype it got it's really sort of a sidequest for one thing every so often. Ironically enough, it's smaller than the town...
I got the guide book (if there's any game where a guide book doesn't seem cheap, it's Animal Crossing -- knowing the prices of items and such is really nice), and there is an AWESOME GracieGrace set. It's made of candy...*drool*
All of the way, or just to a Nook 'N Go? Either way, thanks for not spoiling it...not only does that do the obvious of not spoiling it, but now I'm really intrigued, and I'm really going to work towards it.

I didn't get to play a whole lot today, at least not as much as I would've hoped, so I still have a ways to go. I have about 7,400 left on my first debt, I think. I can't wait to play with someone online, I really want to give it a shot. Since I'm pretty sure no one I know will be getting it soon, you'll probably be the first person I play with, so I'm psyched. =D
Bah, of course that would have to happen.

Yeah, flowers are placed in really inconvenient spots. I've run over patches at least three times, if not more.
Okay, that sounds cool with me. I'll probably be busy during the week, so it'll probably be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

I look forward to it. Especially since I need some other fruit...and you need to take some of my cherries. They blend in with the red trees too much. >.>
    Unless you have cherries, too?
Yeah, sure, that'd be cool with me. When do you think you'll be available to do it? I don't know when I'll be able to, so we'll have to see if we can work out a time, maybe.
