Kind of late now, but if I were you I wouldn't have sold off Brawl. I mean you could always buy it again at a later date I suppose, but there are still tons of controller options for Wii mode. I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to patch in support for the GameCube adapter at some point either.

Mainly just stuff that's already been mentioned. Side-B instead of up-B when trying to recover and accidentally jabbing or nairing with the c-stick are the big ones.

Incredibly frustrating how quickly the NA limited edition for MM3DS AND the MM limited edition XL sold out. Gimping with Greninja's hydro pump is always satisfying, though it happens MUCH less often since 1.0.4 (though that just makes it that much better when it happens). Landing that perfect Falcon Punch though...I've always felt that there's really no better feeling in gaming

It's doing better now than ever I'd say. It's not going to get to the point where it's beating either of the big two, but in the end that really doesn't matter as long as they're making money. 2014 was a great year for the WiiU and 2015 is shaping up to be even better.
