  • JOE don't tell anyone who wins, just update the OP and leave to piss off the fanbase.
all the cool kids do it!
If the gun arm is held to samus' chest, what then? Or mewtwo breaks it internally (that's not even precision, just raw applied force, and for delicate mechanisms like weapons systems, not much).

If you can't make an unpopular decision, even though it's the logical one... well that's exactly why I'm out. You should've explained pretty much exactly what I did.

No one even disputed the aiming/movement issues, it just got ignored.
the most basic problem was ignored, how could samus aim vs. telekenesis. Holding and movement were all shown, both the requisit power and precision were shown, and this particular power was shown very prominently in canon (though it was mainly used to oppose gravity instead of muscle/mechanical power). Heck, mewtwo could've won the match by holding samus until she finds a place that's sufficently dangerious for samus to be hurt by, and tossing her in.

Yes, she has firepower, but no way to actually USE it.

The telepathy issue was a pretty much irrelevant tangent, only making samus even more dead, but because samus had so many vocal supporters, you called it in her favor.

I have no interest is posting extensively researched arguments backed up with heavy logic when they'll be ignored if one choice has a lot of supporters.
isn't that what happened in G. Bowser vs. Golem and guess who won?
EDIT: watch samus win, she has the advantage in firepower, armor, and movement
I don't know how to my thoughts into words to make Adum understand that the powers he's giving mewtwo don't apply to the pokemon conon, and he still doesn't understand that Samus can't be brainwashed
Ugghh I totally would man, but not only do I not have wifi right now, but I'm too tired, sorry. =_=
Whatevs. Still, mewtwo controls EVERYTHING with his mind. The sky really is the limit here, and regardless of how strong samus is, she cannot fight on the same level of something so god-like.
Happy 900th, Joe. :) I'm also posting because I have no idea how on earth I got ahead of you.
Saw your convo with adumbrodeus (as he was talking with me).

Other characters can plank too. Just because Meta Knight was the one who spawned that technique it doesn't mean he's more broken. It could've easily been spawned by Game & Watch or Marth, too.
IDC cape already fell under the stalling ban.

Planking hasn't been proven warranted like MK himself (notice that the SBR does not ban it).

So no, not really. All sort of characters can have infinite stalls (ganondorf in melee did), and having a powerful but not banworthy strategy doesn't say much.
The bigger issue is we really don't KNOW if any of this is true.

Besides the MK placements that have already occurred (tracked by Ankoku's list in terms of centralization) we don't know if he doesn't really have more even, or even bad match-ups.

My biggest consideration is that if he's banned, we do it for the right reason, not just because he's the best, but because he's actually banworthy, and right now we just don't have the data to decide that.
anti-ban because pro-ban hasn't proven their case, but I don't think this should end the issue. Check my blog about what needs to be done before the issue is finalized.
Blame it on the SBR, and RL.

MK ban debate again. Plus heavy work into some projects of my own.

Also, not much to really add, nothing stood out as "omg, these guys are missing something big".

Marthage caught the balance issue for example.
    I would say yes...but.....
I don't have Wifi for my wii here.....
The only way I got on internet with this was through an ethernet cable....

I'll be returning home on Saturday, we can brawl then if you want?
Well I won't be able to go to ECRC now. -_- Because of me having to have a parent confirm I'm her child in order to stay at the hotel(since I'm not 18 yet), I can't do it. I would have loved to though. Oh well maybe next time.
xat! lemme get the link for you....it's not exactly for the TDB, but....only me and Sam were there tonight so we discussed some stuff....
Flash Bomba. There's others I really want to do, too. Like GeeKeR.

    GEEKER, Voiced by Billy West

GeeKeR has the ultimate power: total control of his physical structure. He can assume any shape, taking on the abilities of anything he morphs into. But GeeKeR has an utter lack of FOCUS. He's like a random numbers generator, his mind always going off on tangents even in the midst of danger. Typical GeeKeR dialogue:

    BECKY

GeeKeR! The nanodroids are attacking! What'll we do?!

    GEEKER

    I like marmalade!

GeeKeR's mastery of his structure should make it possible for him to do virtually anything; restructure his brain into a resonating antenna, giving him telekinetic powers; convert mass to energy and project beams of almost unlimited force; etc. His powers should be almost beyond human comprehension, except for one thing: Lady MacBeth stole him before he got the programming which would tell him how his powers work. GeeKeR can change shape, and sometimes some other strange talents manifest themselves, but he has limited control over these abilities.

Since GeeKeR's form is controlled by his mind, his body follows his random whims, assuming a bizarre variety of shapes. He is often oblivious to this. When panicked, GeeKeR may lose control of his body and turn into a helpless puddle of goo. In this state, his already limited mental cohesion disintegrates and he babbles like a bad beat poet, spouting things like, "Where is Tuesday for the pantry walrus? My waffle is Napoleon!"

GeeKeR tries hard to be "like normal people", which is extremely important to him. For instance, in his effort to be "normal", the four-fingered GeeKeR is always trying to grow a fifth finger. But while three, six, or twenty-seven are easy for him, he can never quite manage five.
Well, technically now, but I'm still trying to blow off some steam from this tournament I just finished. If you wanna talk, hit me up on AIM.

    TUSMEnterprises
Good to hear from you. How long you gonna be around? I'm in the middle of an online tourney at he moment.
