It's so sad that we're being told our situation is the result of a recession. When it's more likely due to an over saturation of paper diplomas that anyone can get since institutions are so greedy to pick the pennies of ignorant and hapless students since they are working under the premise that they are giving away an inelastic product. And the demand for an education is so blinded by pressures outside those that came to the person in question, that it is impossible for one to refuse a buy that everyone else is making. And thus the cycles turn. A true recession is cyclical, it recovers. But this my friend is the case of a mass extortion that cannot and will not be stopped any time soon.
