People who are already mods have to recommend you for the position, and then other mods have to back it up. I was the most active and helpful person on the Wario section, so someone volunteered me and I got the position.
I feel the same way about brawl and melee.
Instead of thinking brawl is an evolution of melee, i think its more of a brother to the series.

Yes, we used to have lots of falcon dittos. He always won the majority, but a few weeks ago we had some, he won 3 and I won one, although some were close. He is definitely the better Falcon though. I'll probably be using Ganon anyway.

Yup. You could host one tourney with 16 people, and get that blue name.
It's the easiest thing in the world. Brackets are easy.
I'm sorry, but you aren't very literate. They respect anyone that's fairly old, has a decent number of posts, and they meet the in person, occasionally.
I host online tournaments, you could set one up in 20 minutes and get a blue name. It's not that special any more.

And yeah, Broomer status will be denied. They reserve the green for any long-time SWF users, or anyone they just find cool. You could always get purple, and be in the Brawl Back Room.

I wouldn't want to be a mod, I have potential, but I just don't think I'm what they'd be looking for. Being perfectly honest, I'd abuse my power once or twice. Especially on Arch or Zonda.
I'd be satisfied with Smash Writer, I'm actually planning on getting my orange name soon. Although I do have stiff competition for WWYP.
