Reading through some of those posts has reminded me how Fire Emblem's inclusion has made so many within the Smash community so apathetic or aggressively adamant against the series as a whole. People shouldn't be judging a series of games off of how big of a number they get in Smash Bros.

I'm a bit surprised they kept her Brawl voice lines for Ultimate. For Tiki and BK they just used soundbites from Heroes so I figured they'd do the same for Lyn.

But, even though Fire Emblem has never reached sales numbers as close to some of Nintendo's bigger names, they still choose to market (how well is up to debate) the series to a wider audience. We can go back and forth about whether or not Fire Emblem Heroes sales count towards the series's...

So, when does series overall success start becoming a factor for more characters? Like, say, the next Nintendo IP comes out and somehow manages to net 5.5 million copies sold. Does that guarantee the new characters from that game or does the next game in that series has to sell another or more...

Well, I mean, if Fire Emblem wasn't successful...then there wouldn't be any new fire emblem games coming out, especially on the Switch. Both Awakening and Fates sold around 2 million copies, which sounds pretty successful to me. And 'unsuccessful' isn't really a good factor when dead franchises...

Hope to see Lyndis done sometime soon! These are pretty rad.
