I guess with that sort of situation it's worth remembering that it is the "leaker's" fault that you'd be disappointed with that and not the development team. I can't believe we're this close to the final Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct though!?!

Can definitely support this idea. The Final Fantasy ports were also based on the fact Square opened a studio specifically for porting stuff to Switch.

Just remember that if this isn't real that any animosity, and some of it would be reasonable, should be directed towards the faker and not towards the Nintendo, Sakurai or the Smash development team.

That's kinda the same thing though. Don't want to tell you what to do with your videos, they're your creations, just wanted to let you know a perception I've personally had and seen others share about that sort of thing.

Bit of constructive criticism. It kinda comes across as a bit insensitive to include visible references to all the characters present in a leak in case it is real and it spoils people through YouTube recommended.

It's a fair point. That's basically revealing as many newcomers between now and launch (a period of just over a month) as what was done between the teaser/reveal in March and now. Impossible? No. Likely? Heck no.

I think a strong argument that needs to be considered for "it takes a lot of skill or access to assets to shift characters around seamlessly" is that this is a blurry as heck image. That is going to cover up a ton of imperfections, especially small ones around the edges of characters.
