I think Diddy is Very Strong against Ivysaur. He very easy to combo and I smart player will gimp his recovery at percents like 30%. Once you get him off the edge its pretty much auto win and Diddy has many simple combos like DashA-Jump-Fair that can get him off the edge easily even at low percents.

Hey everyone as you can guesse I main Diddy, but I'm having a bit of trouble on secondary characters. I want someone who compliments Diddys weaknesses. What characters or character do you second fellow Diddy players?

At low percentage you can do some combos with like Dash - U-Smash. I sometimes you use as my running A just to mix things it.

True Yoshi is very underrated I've played a very good one and seen him beat MK players. Bananas aren't that overpowered if Diddy still struggles against MK and Snake, yes bannas are very good but I wouldn't say ridiculously good.

agreed inui plays a great marth Ive seen him at tournament take d2nd behind m2k and 3rd is teams.

More glide tossing imo also try to get in the habit of when you grab to hit A 1 or 2 times to hit them before you throw it doesn't help much but its free damage. You and your opponent need to stop just jumping around on the edge.

Glide tossing is amazing, I use every time I throw a banana. Its great for setting yourself up for an insane amount of combos. Forward glide toss into any smash is also very good it helps get kills a lot easier.
