Prior year's kanto top 8 was very exciting, imo. Haven't gotten a chance to watch this year's, but i can see how that would end up happening with extremely good players competing in 4 stock single elimination scenarios. Thank god they DL only at least- would be terrible to watch on hyrule.

why does J fox suck against samus and kirby? Not bad matchups at all in (U). And samus really can't do much against good lasers besides camp platforms

I've watched a few, and besides the obvious changes (DL only, 4 stock, japanese smash), they play it the same way. Although a lot of people taunt at the same time on the left and right low platforms before starting the match which looks pretty cool

also, are there any NYC smashfests? Its only a trainride away, and i heard the smash scene there is pretty strong
