I still enjoy Dedede. Sometimes. But, yeah, I have yet to meet another Dedede player that I'm happy to have met. I don't know what it is, I just......don't like 'em. On or offline.
Example. I played Rookie in tournament, he has a really good Fox. Only, like, the second Fox I've ever played in tourney. I take him to last hit third game, but he wins. I ask Atomsk how he beats Fox. His response was "I outsmart them." I ask Vex, he says "Pick another character."
Also, I don't like Seibrik. But I won't get into that.
Here's another thing that brought that post on. I was talking to a few of Toon Links, and they're some really cool people in person. Jash, Hyro, Lobos, Izumi, and I started thinking to myself, "I don't have this." I know it's only Smash, but without people to talk to, going to tournaments is pointless.
Now here's the $64 question.

I'm so happy that DDD will be gay again. the only issue now is seeing how consistently it can be pulled off against an opponent. We can learn to space it though by alternating between a dash grab and a shield cancel grab.
