wow, that video is insanely amazing. I imagine he's using a 'new' 3DS with the C stick and probably heavily modified the controls to allow for easy jump and item grab/release combos. Should be possible with the GC controller on Wii U using the same strategies.

This is getting a little off-topic now, I'm sure there is another thread that explains this BUT ... I'm not going to Apex though I did just remove my shoulder springs from L and R buttons today and they work great. It works the exact same way that the Z or any other instantaneous button works...
