How the heck do you get a 100-hit combo in training mode? Seriously. I think the most I ever got was less than 20.

I'll try both of those, thank you. I hadn't considered to use items in training mode, honestly.

And, uh... I don't use Lucario much. I want to like Lucario, I honestly do, but seeing him just reminds me of how much I wanted Mewtwo back. So Lucario doesn't get much love from me in general. No hate, mind you, just indifference. Not saying I won't use Lucario at times, I'm just saying that's probably why I never thought to use him in training mode.

@ Bedoop Bedoop : please don't use white text. It makes it incredibly difficult to read for people like me who use a lighter theme, rather than the horrid black-and-orange default colors on Smashboards. The default "none" color should be plenty sufficient. It's already in a spoiler, so it's not like you have to super-mega-hide everything, right?

I use the Project M Theme, didn't really think about the users with the white theme. Sorry. I'll fix it ASAP. :)

I edit slowly. Sorry 'bout that. XD

And I can't get the game, I have no money. I'll probably get it next Friday, however.

^ didn't realize your age, it's understandable that you have to wait to get the money. At my age I just use a credit card if I don't have the money :p

What do they mean with "Play 10 or more collective hours of Smash"?
Play 10 hours of smash, sitting in the menus doesn't count, its actual fighting time that does. Also, the collective part means that playing with friends doubles, triples, or quadruples depending on how many people you're playing with. For example if you play a 5 minute match with 3 of your friends, thats 20 collective minutes, even though you only played 5.

What's the story with Cruel Smash? How can you even make any KOs if all the Fighting Miis can 1-hit KO you?
I just used Kirby's inhale off the edge and shot them under the stage, kind of tricky to get used to, but after a while I got 4 KOs. You could also try using counter with Ike. That didn't work too well for me, got 2 KOs

Another question that I must ask is the challenge where you have to clear Classic Mode with an intensity level of 9. You pretty much have to complete it without using any continues to clear the objective, right?

I know that for every continue, the intensity level drops, until it goes back down to the standard setting.

Pick :4myfriends: and spam Counter. You should be good.

You have to do it in one run. Can't get a Game Over/Continue.
To clear Classic Mode with all fighters, does that include the alts as well?
No it does not. You just have to do every character and (I think) the 3 Mii Fighter Classes, Alts (Such as :4larry: and :4alph:) do not have to be played to beat the challenge.

Yesterday (The day I was supposed to get it) I went to the fair and my Mom pulled out a $100 Bill.
Still don't have Smash. :\

An interesting note, for all Challenges that include beating a mode with every character, it excludes the Mii Fighters. Classic, All Star, 10-Man, 100-Man, Smash Run, Homerun, etc.... You don't have to use the Mii Fighters to complete the Challenges. Although you'll want to use each of the three types in Classic and All Star for their Trophies. Other than that, you can ignore them, haha!

Also I found the easiest way to do the Cruel Smash is to use Kirby, just keep floating up, use you Down+B, run and repeat. I got 7 kills easily within a minute.

What I did with Kirby was a tactic that has been mentioned already. Inhale one of the Miis, and then spit it out below a ledge. If done right, the Mii won't be able to recover, but be warned that the Mii "will" try to Footstool Jump you if you don't move out of the way.

So, I have a question: I've beaten the All Star mode with every single fighter. Yet for some reason the challenge has not unlocked. I mean what am I missing? I even went back and did it with characters that I'd beaten it before I'd unlocked True All Star Mode. What gives?

Are you sure you completed it with everybody?
Double-Check their scores on All-Star's CSS, if one is 0 that means you missed them.

No. you also dont need to beat it with a Mii character. So basically you just have to beat it with the other 48 characters.

If you play as any of the Koopalings or Alph. it just counts as beating it with Bowser Jr. and Olimar.

I found out what was wrong, I forgot about Ike! :p
You gotta love a roster this big, when you go and do challenges, and get so overwhelmed by the amount of characters in it, you forget about one.

Well...I figured it out. Apparently I had forgotten I lost with both Plautena and Wario but since they had a score I thought nothing of it when passing over it. Well now I have the challenge done so thanks for getting me to check more closely.

Challenge page 2, number 15 - Reveal 99% or more of the Bonus Picture during the staff credits.

What technique do you use to complete this challenge? I tried spamming kirbys jab and changing directions when moved to the end of the stage. I even tried spamming fox's lasers but he doesn't shoot continuously anymore.

Any ideas?

I didn't have a problem doing that with any character as long as you pay attention to the sparkles, sometimes there will be empty spaces that are just teeny tiny or very thin ones along the edge and almost impossible to see, but if you see a sparkle try to hit a name on it. I found it was easiest with Pikachu and Palutena though, with Pikachu spam down b and with Palutena spam up smash. Their pillar attacks will hit every name in a column and fill up the space very quickly. Olimar was good as well, his Pikmin will get stuck in the air and constantly hit names

Literally the same exact thing for me but with Lucario. I just went down the rows of characters in order to complete the challenge, but passed him up for some reason xD

That also happened with my Sister, but it was with Samus for Smash Run's All-Character Challenge. XD

For the Smash Run challenge where you have to win a match with every fighter, you will have to refer to the fighter records to see which fighters you have not won with yet in Smash Run.

The following objectives can't be opened with Golden Hammers in the US and European versions...

Page 2
20 - Defeat Master Core

Page 3
1 - Clear Classic on intensity 9.0
9 - Clear Classic with all Fighters
14 - Complete All-Star Mode with all fighters

Interestingly, those objectives can be opened with Golden Hammers in the Japanese version.

Another way someone can get the 3280 FT. in the Home Run contest is with Shulk. That's how I did it.

1. Switch to Buster Mode(The Purple Stance).

2. Spam forward Smash with the Home Run Bat, It'll do insane damage but the knockback is severely reduced, so Sandbag won't fly away most of the time, even if you get 2 or 3 Home Run swings.

3. Switch to Smash Mode(The Red Stance). Be very quick about it too.

4. Get one last Forward Smash with the Bat and watch Sandbag soar.

5. Really feel it! :4shulk:
