    Yeah... I really don't like vocal music, m'self. There's plenty of choral music and opera within "classical" (The series includes music of the early, renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic, and modern neoclassical eras) music, but the rest is gorgeous instrumental music.

    Yeah, I enjoy them a lot. :) I've got about... oh, 28 or so. It's really taught me a lot about music, because they come with little pages for a music guide.

    Well... last year in April, we got a Mozart CD from my dip**** uncle. It came with a sweepstakes kind of thing where someone who sent in a gold musical note thing would get three CDs, a subscription to the Classic Composers thing (the CDs), and some other stuff. Turns out, he had it. So, I took the opportunity. :bee:

    I also got three more of my lovely classical CDs :'3 I get three every three weeks. I love them like I'd love children if I had any ;-;

    My ideas are in direct conflict with my dad's, though. He wants a cost-effective single-story post-and-beam house on the other side of our property. I don't want that. Do I want to stay close to them? Of course I do! But... not that close. e_e I also don't want that type of house.

    The house itself- excluding the porches- is 30x30 feet. Each of the darker brown squares within the walls are 6"x6" posts, which form the pieces of frame, plus the corners. c: It's a house that would be called a "1 1/2" story" house, the second floor taking up less than the actual space due to the roof. It's quite like what I live in now, aside from its size.

    Well... hers is a lot more than a pain in the ***. ...I won't tell her this, but... her mother does serve a purpose for me. What, I won't elaborate on, because I'll more than likely get extremely depressed about it.

    Well... the thing is, she's got an absolute ***** for a mother. I made sure she knows if ever she gets fed up with her mother's bull****, all she'd have to do is give me a day or two of warning and I'd welcome her with open arms...

    Well... we HAD planned with either 3/25/12 or 3/26/12- my 18th birthday or the day after. But... well, her grades have really fallen, so for her to go into pharmacy (Her college of choice being in Nashville~)... she'll need community college unless some bat**** insane miracle happens.

    Which makes me sad. :c

    Not much... Well, we made some walnut countertops to go over our existing stone tile ones, and also got a new sink. We put 'em in a few days ago, and they're just gorgeous... We still need to make two sections, though.

    And everything's smooth as a peach with my gal, aside from having to push back our meeting date two years. >_< Wah.

    How do I get into the DH? The group membership request seems not to be the right way, even though the thread said so.

    I have a small suggestion for the social thread.

    Why not get rid of the Proving grounds and start over (or move) all of the active debates from there to the actual debate hall? It would be a decent amount of fresh material for the DH.

    Hahaha, the main reason is that I haven't been very active in it.

    I decided to take a while to work on my grammar (wasn't that bad but still), etc so that I'd easily get in when I started posting again.

    Edit: You can still use me as an example of mod inactivity, though. :p

    That's really the only main issue that I can think of.

    I do prefer the old method, but I got kicked out due to a stupid post that I made while half asleep.

    Because of that, I've been in the proving grounds since it was made. :p

    Would you kindly mention in the debate hall social that we actually need active mods who will let people in?

    Being unable to say to Jam that no one has been let in due to mod inactivity is infuriating, to say the least.
