He looks like he could get the ability.

Flygon + Tinted Lens would destroy teams. That + Sword dance would be painful, and That + Dragon dance would make it a perfect candidate for a banning. Only issue with that plan is that Flygon does like Levitate. But being able to hit steel types for neutral damage would not only make Band and Scarf sets extremely viable in OU, any stat up moves in 5th gen will send him over the top unless they give a steel type an ability that halves damage for not very effective moves".

I doubt Gamefreak would make a Steel-type with that ability...

Unless they specifically wanted to **** with us.

^ Lol. I have a good one.

Why can't Mightyena learn anything good at all? IIRC it can't learn Crunch, it learns under 10 moves (maybe I'm exaggerating here but it's bad)

Other early Route Pokemon don't do much better, bar Linoone.

Wasn't counting the birds.

Rattata hasn't worked since early D/P

Mightyena's movepool is just embarassing. It only has 3 moves which have a base power of 80 and are of competitive value. One of them is special. :|

Better than Mismagius at least

Mismagius learns NO moves on evolving
At least Mismagius has a decent movepool coming from the TMs it can learn. And it's got the stats to use it.

Mightyena learns next to nothing good and is well beliow average stat-wise.

It's meant to be a com-mon.

Mismagius can actually do damage with her stats and movepool.
She even has Nasty Plot / Calm Mind to setup on walls.

Mightyena might be a tiny bit better if it had Swords Dance or something.
Lol I lied. Not with those defenses.

Mightyena's competitive movepool: STAB Crunch and Dark Pulse, the latter which it can't even use

Most sets require Dig or Rock Smash to deal with Steel-types. Fire Fang is also a weaker option. Lol Fire Fang.

With his base 90 Attack? Maybe. Hahahaha.

If Mightyena got Super Fang that might help. If Walrein got Super Fang, I don't see why Mightyena can't.
Walrein gets Super Fang? I thought Walruses had tusks or whatever. That's probably not the correct term, but oh well.

I don't know if this has already been said, but I don't think that Volt Tackle should be exclusive to the Pikachu line. I think that things like Jolteon, Luxray, and that new Zebra guy should get it.

Torterra and Groudon don't get gravity.
Ah, but they are the Continent Pokemon, not the Earth/Planet Pokemon. If Groudon actually was representing the Earth, he'd be stronger than frickin' Arceus, and Kyogre would stand no chance. :)

Why doesn't Celebi learn Roar of Time?
