*Reads outofdashadowz's post*Traits means the ability, I believe. EV stands for Effort Values. For more information on that go to serebii.net, it has a guide on that.
gir is a lover of cupcakes and tacos! BUT don't be such an ***This topic is dumb.
My post was sarcastic. I am perfectly aware of what they are. XD Serebii is a vast pit of extremely current information, but many of the old competitive battling movesets are very misleading and rather horrid. You don't wanna go to serebii for competitive battling advice. Try Smogon University.Traits means the ability, I believe. EV stands for Effort Values. Copy that. Same thing goes for people that want to keep a move on a certain Poké because they teached it with a one time only TM and don't wanna waste the move.I myself am a bit tired of rating teams that get 6-0ed by CBCastform.

Your EVs on some of them are a bit messed. Odd numbers?Quagsire * Sire, sire @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: Hp-116, Atk-252, Def-34, SpDef-108
Adamant Nature (-SAtk, +Atk)
- Sludge Bomb
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Focus Punch
I'm assuming you have the SpDef there to try and live through HP [Grass]? It won't. Blastoise carreis Rest 100%, so Toxic only kills Meganium and Lanturn without Rest, but you have Sludge Bomb and EQ for that. Well, I guess at least with Toxic, it can touch Mantine. This is fine I guess.
Smeargle * Piccasso @ Brightpowder
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: HP-106, Def-66, Spd-252, SpDef-86
Jolly Nature (-SpAtk, +Spd)
- Extremespeed
- Spore
- Mind Reader
- Sheer Cold
This thing isn't allowed in UU. Also, concentrate on one defense, and Mean Look over Extremespeed. ES won't do anything with that attack, and without a trapper, they can switch out of the Mind Reader. I would use Leftovers, but if you really want to use something haxy, go with Focus Band.
Omastar * Squid Guy @ Leftovers
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: HP-52, Def-63, SpAtk-252, SpDef-143
Modest Nature (-Atk, +SpAtk)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Rain Dance
- HP Dark
You'll need ~144 Spd EVs to beat Persian in the rain. You need to hit at least 339 for Electabuzz. Use 100 Spd, 252 SAtk, and rest into HP. Quagsire and Mantine both wall you to no end. Go with HP [Grass] for one and [Electric] for the other. Take your pick. Mantine isn't as common as the fatty though. I'd go with grass for Quaggy.
Banette * Puppet Ganon @ Leftovers
Trait: Insomnia
EVs: Atk-252, Def-75, Spd-100, SpDef-83
Adamant Nature (-SpAtk, +Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Frustration
- Will-O-Wisp
- HP Fighting
Fighting/Ghost covers all the types in the game. Frustration is redundant. Try Knock Off to be generally annoying or Imprison to completely and totally ruin normal physical sweepers that depended on Shadow Ball or HP [Ghost] to hurt you. An example would be Persian or Stantler, as both often only carry Shadow Ball and Return as their only attacking moves.
Tentacruel * Jello @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: HP-32, Def-104, Spd-118, SpAtk-160, SpDef-96
Timid Nature (-Atk, +Spd)
- Confuse Ray
- Giga Drain
- Ice Beam
- Surf
Eh. Moveset works I guess. For this, just go 252/252/4 and Modest.
Meganium * Sniffles @ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: HP-179, Def-174, SpDef-160
Impish Nature (-SpAtk, +Def)
- Ingrain
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Rest/Attract
A Meganium that's stuck in one place is a dead one. Ingrain is shouting "HEY TENTACRUEL, SET UP ON ME!". Standard Druidcruel completely takes advantage of this. Wait, just kidding. Any Tentacruel completely takes advantage of this. Special sweeping ones usually use Liquid Ooze instead of Clear Body because they don't care about Intimidate. Actually, anything grass or with sub and has an attack not named HP [Grass] will kill this if it's stuck to the ground. It needs an attacking move too. Go with HP [Grass] over Ingrain. Also, max HP and you'll want some speed too.
