i personally hate challonge but i do like the view-all feature. it's too bad that we never get to see the chat, though, and respond to things. but there's a delay so whatever.

said registrations closes the 25th and the brackets/pools will be out the 28th, so that'll come in handy for viewers

OP was updated for zenith in fb thread/tourney listings, here's the info:

1. apex 2014 ruleset - so starter is DL? and no hyrule (mejorrrr)

2. nearby hotels include bowery grand hotel, which is 1.5m to venue, running at 93 a night, and the union hotel at 143 a night, also 1.5m from the venue. i'm not sure if the comfort inn is still an option, but it's around the same distance.

3. i made a post asking about doubles, spreadsheet, and comfort inn; strife's response: "Ok I'll get on it but tbh zenith Is going to be per usual and it's the only event other than apex to have a big 64 event". so i presume that means...no doubles? i just want some clarity in this. would appreciate if @ Nintendude Nintendude can get a clear response for us.

last thing unrelated to updated info: also Nintendude, are you building/seeding pools by yourself, or do you want assistance from myself and steve? and how did the logistical thingy go at clarendon? and do you need me/us to be there early to set things up?

Based on what the organizers have been saying it's looking like 64 doubles isn't likely to be anything official. I feel bad because I said it would be but I think it's just that they are too quick to agree without thinking it through.

My plan is to seed pools/bracket myself and have you/Steve (and any other TOs) check it over for accuracy. Clarendon logistics are superb. Many of the things I do there work best with on-site registration though, which Zenith does not have.

Having you guys there early to help set up would be a really big help.

this isn't my thread to edit and this is preliminary details. we're past the PRELIMINARY DETAILS. and it's better to have all the info in the OP instead of scattered across six pages. wouldn't you agree?

gonna tag the people who should REGISTER for ZENITH goddammit. if i mistakenly tag you, oh well. PLEASE register early, guys. ya'll should realize by now that if you don't show up strong you get ****ted on. really don't want that to happen for zenith.

aka if you're on the list you're either
a) going and need to hop on registering soon so interest can increase
b) considering going and this is me reminding you that it will be a lot of fun
c) close enough to go/consider going if you want to spend some time in the city/visiting the east coast and can't go to apex
d) not really close enough to go but might consider carpooling with some people
e) other things i don't remember

I'll register at some point, but I'm not sure if I'll be going. I definitely can't drive there myself because nobody used my car while I was gone and it's in real ****ty condition. tbh it worries me that I have to drive it locally at all, and I still don't have a job so I don't want to blow money on this if I haven't secured anything yet.

I'll ask around and get in contact with 64/Melee/Brawl players from the area to see who's going and how much gas money I'd have to contribute.
