Zelda's Infinite on Wario

Yep, Zelda does indeed have an infinite, but it's pretty situational. All you need to do is snag him out of the air, after he already used his Double Jump. Because the Jump is already wasted for Wario, he can't escape. All you need to do is just Jab him a few times, Release, Regrab (You need to time it though, but Zelda's extended Grab Frames makes it extremely easy to do), and Repeat until he's at a High %, then follow it up with a Sweetspoted Fair for the Kill (Which is rather easy to do on Release).

Also note that if you Jab him when he releases, then he'll escape to the ground and the infinite will be broken. Only problem is that I found Zelda's Jab weird, and that sometimes it causes him to escape faster than he should have, and breaking the infinite. This was also tested with a Human, so it does indeed work.

Thanks for contributing Mmac. This is situational, but has low technical skill requirement so it could be useful, especially if you are fighting a Wario who doesn't remember "don't get grabbed" until he's at high percent.

I don't think this will *ever* work, but I guess it's good to know...

No really, I quit.
You've never grabbed someone out of the air? Someone as floaty as wario no less? After you do it's literally just pressing Z until you feel like kicking him, which is an auto sweet spot.

Never said I've never grabbed someone out of the air. I'm just saying that any Wario who is on his game shouldn't be setting themselves up for this, ever... much less will Zelda be on the hunt for it all the time. It's just not something I personally think about.

I'm a fairly grab happy player, any aerial I power shield is immediately grabbed out of. As soon as you land a grab out of any double jump (which warios are notorious for) wario's good as dead. Even the best players can be hit by something so simple :/

Yes, they can be. I just would do my best to avoid double-jumping like that if I were that vulnerable to infinites. I would make mistakes undeniably, but they'd be few and far in-between... though I'm only basing this off of my experience with Ness vs. Marth and avoiding the **** infinite.

How often do you avoid? I usually get DG once or twice a match.

In a normal match, I might get grabbed a few times. In a match where I can get hit by an infinite, it has never been more than once, and nowadays, I don't get caught in it because I just stay off the ground the whole match.

But that aside, I almost always fight Marth as Zelda or PT as opposed to Ness, so I could be making it sound too easy to avoid.

Can't they just upB after the double jump/release
No. You are still stunned even as you're airborne. The only way you can Up B out to save yourself is if you're put over the stage and they go out for another attack, or any other situation where they're not going to follow up with a grab.
