I don't understand how this whole thing works. do you just post a time and date for two people to play and then record the scores or is it some special online system to have these online tourneys?
Anyway I would like to join but i could only play saturdays and sunday afternoons, so that probably would not work, plus I am not that good anyway.
However, is there a way i can watch some of the matches, wihtout participating?

Actually what i do is get the friend codes from everyone and i make > chart to show who plays whom so yeah then after that its up to either of the opponents to contact each other to find a date to play

2 things

First-

You should list the rules and stages even if they are obvious. Is this neutral stages only? Counterpicks or simply all matches random on a neutral stage? Can the same stage be played twice? 3 stock? Best 2/3?

Etc.

This is simply so we don't get into squabbles about stuff later. Although I trust most of the Zelda players on this board, I've simply had way to many experiences on ladders where people purposely didn't follow rules so they could say that the match "didn't count" when they lost.

And second-

This tournament is supposed to last over the course of the week correct? Or just that Friday/Saturday? Just wondering, I'm not going to be around for a large portion of Saturday.

oh.. I've tried to get in contact with my matchup.... no response yet but, a warning to all of you. I have a full time job this summer as an intern and I go on a weeklong vacation starting saturday the 19th... so if we don't pick up the pace.. I won't finish.

haha . . . pro. I'm no pro so don't worry. It's not like i'm terrible but i'm no pro. I mainly joined just to see what the whole tourny thing is like and to see how I fair against some of the best Zelda's. This is just a learning experience, I'm not expecting to win.

That makes sense I guess, but I've literally been waiting for dabuz for 6 hours. I was playing brawl with other people but I was still waiting. I could have been doing other things, but I guess there isn't much I can do. I'll try again tomorrow.

Last chance dabuz, i'm leaving right away here.

oh and i'd also like to play a bunch of you either after the tournaments done or during, doesn't matter. Either PM me your FC or just post it here if you wanna play me. Just lookin' for practice. Thanks :)

...I fought you last night D: Sorry to leave so soon, we were going out for dinner.

On topic, I'm out if McMuffin doesn't show.

oh yeah, haha. I didn't even realize. It's alright that you had to leave, no worries. I think I left a bit after that too.

I, sadly, lost to dabuz. It was to be expected though. Congratulations dabuz, great games!

For the few of you interested, dabuz won the first round at Yoshi's island, I won the second round at Final Destination, and dabuz took the final round and the win at Battlefield. It was fairly close throughout. Last round we both had 1 stock. At first dabuz was winning by a fair amount but then I came back and closed the gap. It could have gone either way but dabuz took the win.

It is difficult to say whether or not dabuz was merely raising my hopes at the end and then crushing them just for the fun of it. But whatever, it was fun nonetheless.

Dammit I wanted to win!!! Anyways, good games and good luck :)
