They finally revealed V's gameplay and people said that his gameplay reminded them of Chaos Legion which was developed by Capcom with his ability to summon demons and other familars to fight. Others said they were reminded of DmC Vergil and I want to say that he reminds me of DMC4: SE Vergil since V wasn't shown moving around much unlike Dante, Nero, and even Vergil himself in DMC4: SE.
V was shown mostly standing around or walking slowly while his summons fought for him. So, V's capable of teleporting and it also looks like he can use Summoned Swords or a variation of it which with his slow, almost methodical movement, reminded of Vergil and his Concentration Gauge in DMC4: SE where the more calm and precise you were with Vergil, the stronger his moves became. As a result, it encouraged flawless and impeccable gameplay which is quite fitting for Vergil unlike with Dante and Nero where you went ham on people and sometimes with a rhythm in Nero's case with his Red Queen's Exceed mechanic.
A neat thing about V is that one of the summons he has is the Shadow, a demonic panther. Shadows apparently haven't been in the game since DMC1 and they rarely appeared as the wiki says they only show up in two secret missions. I didn't even know they existed before V showed up with a panther by his side. I thought it was something new or original to him.
My favorite thing about V has to be his combat theme because it reminds me of the TGS 2010 in-house music used for the announcement of DmC: Devil May Cry. That song I believed was never released, but although DmC's initial trailer didn't look that great, the song really helped sell the idea of DmC being pretty damn gritty and perhaps punk-ish if the music was of that genre. Unfortunately, we never saw that grittier version of DmC.
Also, V has a blue bird friend that sounds like an asshole. In other words, Falco has invaded another game.
