I managed Meta Knight's fthrow>dash attack>uair>footstool>dtilt>dtilt>dash attack>uair>uair>uair>uair>uair>shuttle loop combo in training

apparently it doesn't kill on 3DS so it's kind of a hollow victory. Still not as tough as I expected a 73% combo to be, though. Wonder how hard it'd be to land in a real match.

Anyway that is my accomplishment for the night and now it is time to sleep. G'night gorls

but make sure you're doing it on wii u because 3ds blast zones are dumb and anti-fun

Much of MK's gameplan involves getting the opponent into the air for uair juggles into Shuttle Loop; dthrow and dash attack both combo into uair/Shuttle Loop and both are his primary approaches. In that regard I've heard him compared to Captain Falcon.

Dtilt is a really fast poke. Ftilt is more of a gentleman jab combo than an actual ftilt, and is a nice defensive option. Fsmash is slow to start but is nearly lagless and is safe on shield - it also kills absurdly early and does a beefy 16%, it's a terrific move to throw out. Usmash also has quite a bit of kill power for how fast it comes out.

Don't do shorthop aerials, MK's stuff doesn't autocancel. Generally you'll either want to stay grounded, or you'll be above your opponent mixing up your descent with midair jump dairs into fastfall tornado/grab/etc

Kill moves are Shuttle Loop, bair, fsmash, usmash, Dimensional Cape, and back hit of dsmash. Grounded Shuttle Loop is stronger than aerial, but naturally aerial can be started from juggles for low percent kills.

Mach Tornado is fairly unsafe...but it's a hugely rewarding move that you shouldn't be afraid to use, and the more situations you can find for it the better. It works amazingly well as an airdodge/roll punish and can deal up to 23% fresh if you mash B; if the opponent shields it, you can sit on top of them if it's a tall character like Rosalina and they'll eventually get shieldstabbed anyway.

tl;dr:
Important combos:
- (dash attack/dthrow)>uairs>shuttle loop
- dthrow>Mach Tornado and dthrow>usmash at low percent
- (dthrow/fthrow/dash attack)>shuttle loop at higher percents

Important moves, somewhat ordered:
dash attack/grab, Shuttle Loop, Mach Tornado, fsmash, dtilt, ftilt, uair, bair, nair, dair

Hello and good day to all my Zelda sisters!!

Whelp. Got to play some Smash Wii U for the first time yesterday! Turns out my best character so far in that game is.. Zelda? It was great. Got to K.O. with Farore's Wind and my friend was impressed by it. He also was unable to beat his own Link amiibo, while I was able to 2-stock it! Anyways, the graphics are absolutely amazing. It was great playing such a beautiful game on my TV screen like the old times!

I also will be able to get an amiibo myself. But.. the Zelda amiibos are all sold out everywhere.. Though, if anyone of you was able to purchase one, which one would you get?

Today I'll be attending Winter Brawl 9 in PA, and I was curious if any of ya'll were from the PA/Jersey area and were planning on going. It would be cool to meet/play anyone if they were gonna be there!

I will be repping the bottom tier princess, but only into certain match ups. (I want to try and win, not just with sass ) Crazy enough my buddy I'm going with has convinced me to run Zelda into Diddys to try and punish them hard. Spot dodging into elevator an attempted Hoo Haa is too strong.

Also, at least in the New England area Zelda Amiibos are pretty common. I'd try to order one online if you want one without paying mark up. It's possible they could get rare, but I suppose we can't know for sure right now.

Katakiri solo mains MK and wins frequently and Itol posted a livestream tournament and he won using only MK despite going diddy when things got rough. He beat Sonic who is MK worse MU.

Then there's other MK soloing him but yeah, he's got solid results unlike last year.
