Yeah, they confirmed that way back when they announced Twilight Princess HD; the Midna amiibo is supposed to do some stuff in the new Zelda game.

Edit: I just saw what Wolf Link does, if you use Wolf Link on BotW, he aids you and comes along with you on your quest. He'll fight for you too. And he'll have a certain numbers of hearts you had in TP:HD.

And I like the new Zelda game, it looks really fun, and it reminds me a bit of Skyrim, even though I never did play Skyrim. Just the amount of stuff to see and do is just so cool.

Sakurai will never revamp a character's moveset in Smash because he's afraid of alienating that character's mains. That's why we still have Zelda's dysfunctional moveset and Falcondorf still exists.
