We were at battle field and he was at 146 and he did dtilt so I tried to fade back and counter with a Nair but I guess he ran up and jump canceled a like half second charged usmash and got me. I kinda thought it'd hit but I didn't think it'd kill me

I don't know the difference rage makes. 150 is max rage.
I've also encountered odd moments where knockback is much higher then it should be

Blue number being Wii U FD kill percent without rage. 72% with rage sounds pretty normal Byxis , it's one of the strongest usmashes in the game.

Though tbh Braixen's name really confuses me and there aren't a lot of Pokemon names that do that.

It also looks ugly. Honestly I'm not a huge fan of any of the Kalos starters. Chespin isn't a reptile and I'm kind of mad about that.

Fennekin > Froakie = Chespin

Braixen > Frogadier > Quilladin

Greninja > Chesnaught > Delphox

Froakie slowly rose through the ranks, Chespin was just kinda there all the way (love Chesnaught though <3) and Fennekin jumped the shark and fell face-first onto the floor.

Squirtle's turnaround animation, his frame 1 jab, and his air speed were the main interesting things about him. Ivysaur was intriguing but flawed, at least for Brawl (also that DSmash, terrible move).

Smash made me appreciate Greninja though.

I think Gen 6 was the second time that none of the starters really stood out and appealed to me (Gen 3 was the first), though I do have slight preferences (Mudkip/Chespin). I like the "fighter/mage/thief" contrast the starters have but, as far as gameplay goes, Protean is such a ridiculous Ability that Greninja easily eclipses the others. Bulletproof and Spiky Shield at least give Chesnaught a niche. I mainly dislike Delphox competitively because it makes Typhlosion obsolete and I LOVE Typhlosion. Though Gen 2's recycling of the Kanto starters' stats sucks for most of them (Feraligatr is decent, Meganium has the standard Grass-type lack of move pool, and Typhlosion has the exact same stats as Charizard).
