Sakurai, give sword please. thx
Complain enough and he'll give Zelda a sword... as a custom Nayru's Love called Nayru's Spin Attack. How's Warlock Blade treating you, Ganondorf? Oh, you can't use anyone since customs are ignored in competitive play? Well, that's life in Smash. :p

Too bad, because Zelda's sword is waaaay better looking than any other sword present in smash.

(Sorry to the gorls that also follow the Bayo social, but I'm posting this here, too).

Any of you gorls in here Sia fans?

Her new album released today, and overall, it's pretty good. It's not as good of a mainstream pop record as 1000 Forms of Fear was (and it's nothing compared to Some People Have Real Problems), but it's still worth a listen. Sia's unique fingerprint is present in all of the songs. Sia's vocals are killer as always, so it's worth listening to just for that.

Is it okay if I post this one screen grab I got from this one Miiverse user who get VERY salty at me because I told him he was on KnowYourMeme? :3

His profile description is hilarious.

"If you play Super Smash Bros. and you start any combo with a grab or that's the main move in your arsenal, then you are truly garbage at the game. Real, skilled smashers fight without using grabs."

I bet he doesn't even use command grabs because he's so good.

Here you go. I've shown this to @PK21, and it's pretty funny that he acted like this just because I mentioned KYM.

In fact, he sounds and acts like DSP. Never thought I'd say that. :V

Due to him badmouthing me. I've sent a report violation based on his second comment. :V

Also. His response when I told him this is going onto Smashboards:

"Whatever loser"

:secretkpop: (Clearly, he needs to learn that Zelda needs to be banned ASAP.)

Finished the main story of Hyrule Warriors Legends, progressing through the Cia stuff now. Jotting down character thoughts because why not.

Link: spin attack op. I'm guessing it'll become less relevant postgame but the Master Sword having 300 atk while all my other weapons are like mid 100s tops made him pretty nuts in comparison to other characters.

Zelda: Didn't even get to play her again after the prologue so I don't know how she plays with upgrades lol

Impa: Bleh. Feels clunky. Maybe things changed with upgrades but I didn't really want to give her another chance, she got dropped as soon as I was able.

Sheik: Pretty alright. Serenade of Water makes me feel she's designed for longevity, but from what I've played so far I'd rather have raw power in every situation and she doesn't seem to stand out in that regard.

Lana: Really fun. Feels like she has tools for every situation, and I love the versatility to her blocks in being able to dash into them for explosions. Dodge cancel dashes are also amazing both for chasing after attacks as well as general movement.

Linkle: Also really fun. Terrific crowd control (R5 is a 180° arrow spray that pulls everything directly in front of you, range is dumb), really silly Strong Attack that builds lots of damage/meter and launches+links into normals (bosses don't get to do anything), and some really damaging combo moves. Also adorable and bad at reading maps.

Darunia: I played him for like 30 seconds once to give Zelda a potion

Midna: Also haven't played enough to give an opinion of.

Fi: Wished her R2-R4 linked more quickly, I like playing her for the most part but she feels lacking when it comes to smashing weak point gauges that disappear quickly. Nice flow to her moveset otherwise, juggles decently and has an amazing dodge.

Ganondorf: Slow. Running around as longhairdorf with two greatswords feels so right, but...SLOW.

Zant (didn't unlock from story, how2get): Experimented with a bit during Ganondorf's story segment. Somehow both unconventional and quirky yet incredibly boring. C2>spin>special>repeat. Seems pretty efficient but...ugh.

Ghirahim (didn't unlock from story, how2get): Quick launcher+quick combos for smashing weak point gauges more reliably than Ganon/Zant, projectile normals were a nice bonus. Ended up favoring him for Ganondorf's story missions despite not being able to unlock anything for him. Bonus points for insulting Linkle's fashion sense and wanting to capture areas for their aesthetic appeal.

Cia: Fast+large normals, decent combo moves with situational but well-defined uses. Satisfying special. Her laugh gives me strength.

Volga: Pretty straightforward, disappointed that dragon form didn't get more use than just "float in the air for a bit then crash" but his combination of range/speed/power is pretty silly.

Wizzro: Haven't gotten to use much yet, moveset seems decent but I didn't find him very fun. Bonus points for amusing dialogue.

Twili Midna (playable for only one mission cri): CANNON

❤: Lana, Linkle
A: Cia, Volga, Twili Midna
B: Link, Fi
C: Sheik, Ghirahim
D: Zant, Ganondorf
E: Impa

You get Zant, Ghirahim, Ruto, and Agitha from the first adventure map ;o (at least, I'm pretty sure they're still there, not sure if hey moved them or not)
And I'm not sure but I'm fairly certain you get Twili Midna, Young Link, and Tingle from adventure mode too. Probably in their respective game maps.

Nooooooooo!!!

Also, I think it's a Dynasty/Samurai Warriors thing where slow characters start off really, really slow, but after leveling up, they become decently fast. I remember that average characters were slow and slow characters were hella slow in Dynasty Warriors 4, 5, and 6, Samurai Warriors 2, and Orochi Warriors. Problem is if a game has mounts which Hyrule Warriors doesn't, so Ganondorf hopefully won't be that slow in a game with relatively large maps. I remember watching high level Ganondorf gameplay and he was pretty fast for a big guy. I don't know if this is the case for Sengoku Basara, but I'm going to assume yes since you have to level characters... they're not going to give you maxed out characters from the get-go.

Characters in HW don't become faster with level, but there is a skill called Hasty Attacks that boosts your attack speed. It's a sealed skill that requires 4000 kills. It's pretty much essential for harder missions for characters like Ganon and Darunia. :p

All levels do in HW is boost the characters base attack power. Your defense is based on the mission difficulty. This is why everyone hates the Twilight Map, cause the damage on the map is incredibly high. A good hit from an Officer will take away about 4 hearts and immediately screw your A rank. There's this one particular insane mission that requires Ganon vs. an army of Dinolfos, which have super armor on like half of their attacks. Not fun at all x~x

Oops I'm ranting
Nothing wrong with ranting about a fantastic game if you ask me. :076:

I can rant about this game pretty easily if someone asked for tips or my opinion on something. Shout out to @~Edgy~ (haven't done that in a long time) can back me up on this thanks to all the Darunia tips I gave him.

Of course that applies to other games I love (and hate) or have a huge passion for like Star Fox: Assault, the Prime trilogy and some Zelda games.

Link only gets more broken when you get the true master sword.

Sheik has an infinite that works on most bosses (Literrally Attack > attack > Heavy > repeat if you time it right) and Ganon is the best at crowd control period with his Special 5 with Super Armor and ridiculous dmg. I can't think of any other character who can INSTANTANEOUSLY clear out an entire fortress in one attack and usually take the base immediately afterwards besides Ganon. He's so stupidly good especially once you get his stronger weapons (he's already borked without them). To make matters better every patch they've been like, BUFFING Ganon.

Impa is also dumb because water adds damage modifiers and you stack damage like mad with the character and do loads of it consistently.

I honestly hate playing Fi because she slides all over the place and feels incredibly imprecise. I'll have to try Linkle but she looks like Crossbow blahblahblah crowd control and I'd rather play Ganon who just does basically everything good in the game that's usually required for missions. Ganon, Sheik, and Link are generally my mainstays.

I can't wait to use the Trident. Ganon's power is cool and all but he's just so slooow I can't stand it. While Trident looks like the fastest weapon in the game even WITHOUT Hasty Attacks on it. ;o;

Darunia was my fav in hyrule warriors he really made me feel like I was a giant Goron swinging a giant hammer granted I'm the kind of guy who plays heavies and drops them later for a more nimble character

His profile description is hilarious.

"If you play Super Smash Bros. and you start any combo with a grab or that's the main move in your arsenal, then you are truly garbage at the game. Real, skilled smashers fight without using grabs."
He sounds like the type who thought edgehogging was cheap in Brawl.

Coincidentally I do dislike it, haha.

Also I loved Mario 3's Ice World actually, I don't mind slippery in a platforming environment, but in a 3D Beat Em Up? It's awful.
Ice world will always destroy my deathless run.

TBH my least favorite world in Mario 3 is World 7 and it's just above average as opposed to excellent.

THE MARIO 3 WORLD TIER LIST

S: World 4, World 5
A: World 6, World 1, World 8
B: World 3, World 2
C: World 7
... man

Don't do this to me.

Can't we just agree that the frog suit is the worst and go on with our lives?

Why the actual f*ck is wyrs is swordmaster? oh right, FE10...
still not as bad as thracia776 and binding blade
If Wrys was in Radiant Dawn (FE10) he'd be Hot Garbage FE10 is not kind to healers unlike FE11 which is kind to every healer but Maria and Elice (and Etzel too but no one gets the gaiden chapters)
