That, and the creative set ups I was able to make up. Always exhilarating.

Until time went on and I learned that I had to make EVERY setup so precise and so perfect...for inconsistent outcomes.
I don't think any character has given me that much stress lol

This boy is possibly top 5 in the game, but definitely top 10. Other top tiers have received nerfs (not counting customs because lol customs) like Better Zelda, Romalina, Better Samus, and Yellow Rat. That makes sense. But what about bottom tier characters?

Bad Zelda has been nerfed. Mii Gunner A.K.A. "The only way you're getting Inklings in Smash until Smash 5" has been nerfed. Bad Samus has been nerfed. Tuna Lady With Seaweed Hair has been nerfed. Mootoo, a DLC character, has already been nerfed. These characters have done nothing wrong. Their nerfs aren't on the level of Jetpack Monkey and Green Plumber, but their nerfs still made them even worse than they already were, especially because those nerfs applied to some of their best or most vital moves. Mootoo got a smaller hitbox on his up smash (or her. Or it since it has no gender. So "it" got a smaller hitbox on "its" up smash.) Tuna Lady with her huge flowing seaweed hair has gotten her grab range reduced even though it was absymal before. Miss BAN•ZELDA herself has gotten an additional 3 seconds for her phantom to reappear after being broken. What was the point of these nerfs to already bad characters?

I have a good idea of what happened. Sakurai said: "We need to nerf someone! Let's nerf a bottom tier to mix it up a bit." and his team agreed. To choose said bottom tier character that would soon be nerfed, Sakurai's team made a dartboard of all the bottom tier characters. Sakurai himself was then blindfolded so that he could throw a dart at random to choose the unlucky character. After throwing 4 darts into a nearby assistant's eye, (don't play darts blindfolded kids) the dart landed on Mii Swordspider. Sakurai was unpleased with this result because nobody, and I mean NOBODY, plays Mii Swordspider. So Senpaiurai buffed Mii Swordspider and nerfed everyone else. The end.

But how has the Mess named Ness been nerfed?
"1 additional frame of endlag on PK Fire."

Yes, that's the only way that Mess has been nerfed. (Rising PK Flash was nerfed a ton but it's a custom and a bad one at that, who cares.) Oh, but SURELY they wouldn't have BUFFED Mess, that would be an outrageously huge mista-

It's exactly how it's annoying to read a Mess player when he looks like an old man with an ugly mustache if you turn his head upside down.) By using the tag "MESSY•NESS" you can tell Sakurai and his team that this is a character that needs major changing to become a more balanced character, and eventually, a more balanced game. Until then, this game is a Mess and shouldn't be taken seriously.

I laughed at that one too.

It was an amusing list in that it didn't care how offensive it was. It was pretty ugly if you took it at all serious though of course. But even in stuff this ridiculous, there's usually a bit of truth. Wouldn't be funny if it wasn't at least a little true in places or at least easy to imagine being true.

Don't worry. They already nerfed him in a pretty subtle way. Additional shieldstun doesn't help you when you rely on kill throws a lot =).

He's by no means super bad though, or even close to irrelevant, but....myup.

Also they buffed Dr. Mario a bunch so Sakurai's team can do no wrong!

Then you need to build up the stamina to continue playing at your "peak". Playing sessions where you try your best (or better yet go to tourneys even if they are small locals) is a decent way to improve this, & always have the notion that you are playing to LEARN & as opposed to playing to win (which should always come in the sense of FOCUSING ON OUTPLAYING your opponent since it focusses more on what is happening in the present as opposed to the future) or playing for results (which is always detrimental).

Focussing on outplaying your opponent & learning lessens the pressure that you put upon yourself & you benefit more as a player through this.
